INSERT_TITLE_HERE
when hard 8 first opened it was almost too salty to even eat. Now it’s a lot better, but I find it inconsistent. Some days really good, some meh. I took a client there last week. Ribs were great (but the one on the end was like leather), chicken overdone, etc…
I’ve been to the original sonny Bryan’s once 15 years ago when I first moved out, and several franchises since. They’re good to my tastes, but nothing to write home about.
meat u anywhere in grapevine is always consistently better than both of those (like top 5 all time for me), but it’s really small, and hard to use to take clients, etc. When I bring internationals around it’s always their favorite place, though. I’ve been using their rubs at home for years now. They also have some less common things, like tenderloins, a couple cuts of things are Saturday only, though.

Wow, I have nothing like this anywhere near I live… or may be I haven’t tried to find it.
[There was a small group of bicyclists (about 6)that used to meet at a bike shop, I used to use from time to time. Around 5 pm the group used to come back to the shop with their bikes covered in mud… I was asked to join but I didn’t have afternoons free.]

It only showed the packed dirt trails I already use. I may have to ask at the bike shop.

I'm a huge Vince Guaraldi fan, his Latin jazz stuff, and of course the Peanuts stuff. This album gets played multiple times/week in my household over the holidays.
I have some sheet music for this that has been part of my repertoire since HS. Been dusting it off lately, cause 'tis the season and all that. The inter-melody passages (like the one at the beginning) are very cool.

Ate very clean yesterday, lots of water, no wine with dinner, and was 143# this morning 
. Almost feel like adjusting my weight down in Zwift (from 145) but I'm too lazy / don't care enough to do that. Plus, it's probably karmic payback for having it set there for years and usually being a couple lbs heavier, lol.
Off day anyway. About to start my strength routine while I listen to the news. Might go for a brief jog after work if the ladies doth permit.

I've been slacking on doing such routines lately but I got one in today, 100 pushups, a buncha bicycle crunches, plank, sideplank, alternating plank, squats, mountain climbers, single leg Romanian deadlifts. No news for me, I just put a song on youtube and then let it pick the next 6 or 7

I have a couple routines that I do per week. Only overlap is pushups and planks, but I mean essentially the same type of stuff. I have some dumbells that I use for weighted lunges and platform step ups, but otherwise its all pretty light stuff really (bodyweight)

Many years ago I started lifting heavy in the offseason, squats, deadlifts etc. I really enjoyed the deadlift, but I royally screwed up my back. I think I progressed too quickly, especially since it was hard for me to have good form with my long femurs.
Now there are no bumper plates in my garage. Not sure I'll ever go that heavy again, I think what I do now is plenty to be overall healthy and strengthen my supporting muscles

It's interesting how different environments can affect how cold a temperature feels. When we were in Telluride, we went for a short hike at about 10,000' at about 9:30 am. The temp was about 26F, and I was hot in a long-sleeve t-shirt and sweatshirt. Get back home to roughly sea level, and I'm freezing at 36F.
I have not been in the mountains during winter for a long time, and was quite surprised how much the elevation makes a difference.
