Schwinn Circuit, $400 in Asheboro, NC with seller accepting offers (for more or less?). Looks decent from the pics provided, unfortunately no drive side photo. And that bar tape can't be helping it sell.

This pretty pristine looking pair of touring bikes:
Marktplaats
They're looking for €600 ($700) for the pair. 3x7 drivetrain on both, Hardtlite FM-1 STB tubing (Splined, triple butted chromoly) with the original paperwork.
P.s. Because of the size of the ladies model; Paging bianchigirl

Trek early 80s touring prototype(?) on eBay - $400+
This may be of interest to some. Could be a worthwhile pickup given how much the higher-end touring models of the period typically sell for. (Link help appreciated)

I wouldn't mind picking it up and shipping it to the US. That would probably add another €150 to the price in shipping probably but still a good deal if I understand correctly.

Debated not posting this but realistically I'm not buying a roadie any time soon, so....
(also the stock Superbe Pro pedals make this practically a profit)
1988 Schwinn Prologue - $375 (Magnolia)
https://seattle.craigslist.org/see/b...223486955.html
For sale, Schwinn Prologue size 55, made of Tange Prestige tubing, super light super strong, one of the best Schwinn ever produced, equipped with Suntour Superbe Pro cranks rear derailleur pedals and seatpost, unblemished Pearl Izumium leather saddle, Specialized sealed bearings hubs, Suntour shifters front derailleur bottom bracket rebuild, Gran Comp brake calipers Diacomp Aero levers, Tange headset rebuilt, 2x7 indexed gearing, Mavic Open Sport rims, old Michelin tires, SR stem and handlebars, nice clean bar tape.
The paint is not bad has wear and tear, there is a ding below the W on the nondrive side downtube, it is pictured.
Should fit for one that is about 5'7"
Thanks for looking

I'm kind of in the same boat with this one. I have the room and the money, but it's a 3 1/2 hour drive away and that's not realistically gonna happen any time soon. Would love to own own of these some day, since I love my Paramount PDG so much. For this market, I think it's a steal.

Detel is hardly a "no-name" just a very uncommon name. This looks like a 'sleeper" that most will not appreciate the quality due to it being obscure
EDIT: there's more info in this "what's it worth" thread and an 022 Ishiwata bike with maybe exactly the gruppo this one has, and mentions that the Edco crank is cracked, so....caveat emptor!

Yeah it's unclear (to me) where the owner sourced his frames from, my guess would be "Japan" more likely than Taiwan but could be either (or both), there could be more than one builder. Note the decal on the "Ishiwata 022" example with many of the same components clearly says "ASSEMBLED in Green bay WI", and not "Made in". If it's true he used some 025 Ishiwata tubing for certain models he must have had a direct line to source it since it's pretty rare for a bicycle made with that number tubeset (plenty of 024 and 022). The deep fluting on the DS chainstay may be a clue cause it's distinctive. This unsual (and high-end) gruppo could be worth more than the frameset, especially if it's in good shape.

Superbe derailleurs/shifters alone are probably worth half of the asking price.
