Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Come on everyone, play nice so we can get back to the important issues normally discussed in this thread.

Yeah, if anyone here happens to have any native American in them. Could you please do an anti-rain dance for me? This is getting effing ridiculous.

I would LOVE it if people would stop injecting their (irrational, poorly though out, and under-informed) political views.

...but I can't help but point and laugh at them when they do.

No kidding, this weather has finally gotten to me. I'm setting at home on my couch sick today. I hate to waste my sick days when I don't feel good.

If you feel that there are excessive political posts then please report them and they will be removed or moved to P&R. That is a much better way to handle things than to insult forum members.

I guess the low in Tampa today is 52F. Are you freaking kidding me it's 2/3s of the way through May. We have a chance of rain all day for the next 48hrs. I don't care anymore. Time to just suck it up and ride in it I guess.

A few showers would be fine but I'm about to move on top of a mountain and build an ark.

Good luck with the tri this weekend Jen. Let me know if they do a good job running it, I am thinking of making the trip next year. Jekyll is such a cool place.

I know, right. I wish they would hurry up, and build that velodrome in Cleveland they have been talking about for the past 10 years.

IDK if you watched stage 4 or not. It was very sad as they all rode neutral across the line. I nearly had a tear drop my eye.

We're two or three weeks away from our first - choosing a baby name sucks (it sucks x2 in our case - we don't know the gender). We're thinking classic but uncommon... none of this Brayden stuff. We'll see how it works out.

I didn't know parents did the surprise gender thing anymore.

If you name the baby one of the trendy male names, odds increase 100% that he will turn out gay.
