Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Nuggets are at home trying to eliminate the Miami Heat but the Heat are looking good so far.
Denver can't seem to find the basket.
In other news that nobody here cares about Justin Ashley set a speed record at Bristol yesterday.

first unfixable (by me) tubeless flat today. shard of glass, approx a 3/16” triangle. nice clean slice. won’t hold more than 20psi. added sealant, just squirts out past 20. tried to jam one of those Stan’s darts in there, absolutely hopeless. no way that thing is going in there!

bummed.

I'm not a NASCAR fan but I would go to a race at Bristol, at least once. I've seen a bit of it on tv and it looks fun.

I’ve been thinking about my bike fit a lot recently. I don’t have any discomfort but I am wondering if I am too stretched out. This based on looking at the other riders. I noticed last time I rode with the group that most of the riders arms were perpendicular to the ground elbows slightly bent, while on the hoods. Also seemed like their heads were directly over the bars.

My amends are are more forward elbows slightly bent or if aero my forearms are parallel to the ground.

Makes me wonder if my stems are too long, however when I am aero my elbows over lap my knees and if I had a shorter stem the over lap would be even greater, possibly even in the way. I like narrow bars.

While watching Tour De France unchained I noticed a lot of the riders were more similar to the way I ride, but when they were aero, their backs were round.

My back is always straight when aero.

I have an extremely short torso and long arms.

I guess my back is round.

Always looks like my bikes are too small. I’m too fat for this sport.

SMH.
You are barking up the wrong tree. There are LOTS of spotty drug shortages and tough for a doctor's office to keep track of this. I suggest you call around other non-WalMart Pharmacies (including both chains like CVS/RiteAid/Walgreens) but also grocery store pharmacies and/or independents. I suspect you can find a source. If there are utterly NO sources then you call the witch doctor to discuss alternative short-term (and possibly long term) options.

This is a huge headache for our office and we sympathize with our patients but you gotta check around.

Fit actually looks reasonable to me, especially if you are comfortable, I would not mess much with it.

If you really want to get even more aero, try to bend more at the hips (and/or rotate forward) to get your body more parallel to the ground and thus more aero....but it may cause you some back and/or neck pain so I would leave good enough alone.

Appreciate it.

Ive gained 15 pounds since Simon was born. The only change in my routine. My mileage dropped about 50 miles a week. Diet and sleep have stayed the same.

Been battling something now for three weeks. Nose is randomly super congested through out the day, but not all day. I always have a lot of mucus in the back of my throat, and for whatever reason has left me with super weak legs. Really hope tomorrow my legs are back to normal. Race Thursday if I can even fit in my team kit.

The weather man is saying temps will rise to 45 P. Temps unknown in these parts, until this year.

The worst gash that I had that wouldn't seal still got me home at 40 PSI. Like yours, couldn't plug it and wouldn't seal above that. Other than the mess, I could have booted and tubed it but 10 miles at 40 PSI was ok with me. Anyway, I've only had the one that wouldn't seal since 2015 and maybe 40k miles.

Arábica coffee gives me those sinus/throat issues. Robusta and instant don't. The acids that give arábica it's body are the culprits.

On the other hand, it’s marvelous how argument-free this thread remains. I’d love to think it’s because the regular folks here respect one another, but you can’t rule out the sobering influence of there usually being a sheriff around, even the jolly fun-loving ones we’re blessed with.
