The derailleurs, Stronglight 49D, and bar end shifters are worth that price alone.

It's been available for quite a while too. Hate to see great bikes like this one lose their value.

Yeah, they ride beautifully. I'm riding my Grand Jubile through the Winter and then passing it along in the Spring due to lack of space. Probably wind up giving it to a friend. Don't want to spend weeks selling it to wind up letting it go for $100.

Giving cool things to folks who can use/appreciate them is a wonderful thing to do.

Did that with a Raleigh Sports earlier this year. Gave a single mother some reliable transportation. Going to keep doing that. Don't want those 3 speeds to disappear as commuters. They're perfect for getting around in the flatlands.

Unfortunately, they only made 23" and 25" in this era. If they made a 24", I'd definitely have one in the stable...

1987 Trek Pro Series 560 in aqua Shimano 105, Matrix Titan Tour - $100 (Burlington)

1987 Trek Pro Series 560 in really nice aqua color. Shimano 105 groupset. Matrix Titan Tour 700c wheelset.

Was gonna clean up and sell for much more in the spring, but making room in garage for batting cage, so it’s gotta go.
First $100 cash gets a beauty!

Oh, and no shift levers? "Will need DT shifters to complete" - it was previously for sale as a frame, I think? yep, https://offerup.com/item/detail/f920...c85a8e?cid=7.4

Yeah, obviously "a thing", maybe like climbing Everest now days, Eddie and Edmund rolling over in their graves, this bike looks like it could have been the real deal, maybe.

based on this: https://budgetbicyclectr.com/1982-ro...d-bicycle.html it looks like it has Ishiwata double butted 024 tubing. The irony in that "budget bicycle center" name gets me every time.
