Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Picked up a new cheap P&S canon camera today. I can't find the battery charger for my olympus and I realized it was more than 5 years old so I figured what the hell. For the 80 bucks it's worth the newness. Plus I haven't taken any pictures of any bike stuff because of the lack of decent camera. This should remedy that.

Charge Juicer frameset. Tange Prestige. Takes mid reach brakes with clearance for 28mm tires and fenders. Gonna be a while before I can afford to build it up. Right now I'm thinking classic bend bars, SKS fenders, fancy brakes, and a utilitarian Sram/Shimano mix.

Nice. The age of disk brakes on road bikes has arrived.

Just ordered two pairs of Voler Estrella Elite FS Pro bib shorts and two Castelli Prologo HD Short Sleeve jerseys. I figured at $31 each, I'd pick up two jerseys to rotate in summer. The bibs were the same idea. I had some credit on a website and got two pairs with my credit. All have shipped, so hopefully I'll have my hands on them next weekend.

Thanks!

i have to say since I'm coming off of DA 7800 that I was surprised at the chunkyness of the the levers, and they say these are sleeker than the 7900 I can only imagine what they must be like.

Sounds good. Be sure to watch out for the extra set-up steps for the FD. The "reinforcement plate" is tiny and easy to lose and the "convertor" stuff had me scratching my head for a few minutes...
