Bike delays

I'd go easy on the OP. It seems like a fairly common school project, to come up with a product idea based on a market survey. Students don't have the resources to pay for heavy duty market research, so an online poll does the job of providing a data set to start with. Like most school assignments, it's more about the process than the actual premises of the project.

this is for a GCSE tech project and the design brief is to "create a product that reduces the time spent on delays during bike travel" e.g. a product that can make repairing a to finish a journey quick and easy.
I had to look up what GCSE is. Also, these kinds of requests appear from time to time on the forums, so it's kind of old hat.

Even with that, it's poorly explained.
And, you added an interpretation that wasn't there.
That it's "old hat" doesn't make it reasonable.

I seem to recall that the French always have road race delays due striking newspaper workers or steel workers. Didn't Hinault have to push the peleton through a line of angry newspaper folks? Anyway, I vote "striking workers". Um, the solution or tool that might prove useful would be tear gas or water cannons, I guess.
