Pay it forward...

Stop reading my posts!
BUMP for an edit and exposure:
These have not been jumping off the shelf and into new hands, I still have 5 bags left.
Since I can't imagine that people have all the tools they need (I sure never do!) I reckon it's because I over-complicated this by asking to compute actual shipping on USPS.
So let's over-simplify instead;
Send me $2.50 via PayPal and I'll mail you one bag of TWO tools (one Allen wrench and one 17mm wrench) to any Continental USA address.
That's just $1.25 per tool...delivered to your door! You can't cook them yourself for less!
Free for cost of shipping: BIKE TOOLS! Well, actually these were originally packed with office furniture and were all being tossed by my current employer, so I grabbed a handful before the trash pick-up in order to not let perfectly good tools go to landfill.
What you see: picture of two pairs: one bagged pair as I will ship it to you, and one pair removed from bag for clarity.
What you get: one long-arm 6mm Allen wrench/key with bright plating (handy for stem bolts), one stamped steel 17mm open/box end wrench, bright plated, (handy for hub lock nuts) sealed in plastic bag.
What I get: You calculate postage (use USPS.com) from 94107 to your address for a 5oz. large envelope, add .35 for the padded envelope I had to buy; PayPal that total to: worthy2@sonic.net
I have 6 (six) bags of these to send, once gone I'll update this post to say "ALL GONE"...there may be some late-comers who'll be disappointed, I don't know how much demand there is for such stuff...

I have two 700 x 35-40 thorn proof tubes for the cost of shipping. I can ship them by USPS flat rate box, parcel post, or first class from Maryland. You choose the shipping method and I'll find a box to accomodate. PM me if interested.

The shop was rehabbing a customer's UO-8 on Saturday. Among the upgrades he requested were new brake levers - the original Mafac levers had one bunged up housing and one broken "safety" lever. They were headed for the trash when I intercepted them. The left lever has the bunged up housing, but I think it is still serviceable (especially if hidden by a hood). The right lever has the broken safety lever.

This (recycling vintage shop take offs) is a perfect use for this thread.

Cannondale short sleeve jersey, the Classic model, 3XL, in very good condition, worn a few times. Yellow with white accents/sleeves. Free to any one needing a big loose jersey , just shoot me a PM or email and I'll get it to you.
No problems with this jersey, just too loose and large for me, it was on special at the LBS so I took a chance. Lost too much weight to use this jersey, so off it goes.

Stop reading my posts!
I have had a recent rush of interest in the bag-of-2-tools (which nobody had interest for in the last 3 months).
I'll get these latest 3 requests mailed in the next week but
HOLD OFF
anybody else sending for these until I can inventory how many are left and post an update.
Watch this space...
UPDATE: as of Jan. 3 2017 I have one bag left for certain, another is pending so possibly one more but can't promise.
BUY ME OUT and take this last bag of two tools for a mere $2.50 in postage! Happy Wrenching in the New Year!

Pay It Forward 2017!
Same rules as last year (and the year before and...)
Linky to last year's -> https://www.bikeforums.net/sale/10456...rd-2016-a.html

Please do not ask for items, this is not the thread to do so. Another thing that I ask is, please do not put claim to a lot of items here, lets give every one a chance to be the recipient of a gift.

Shimano 3 Speed Internal Parts
I bought a bunch of 3 speed parts from a guy who trained juvenile offenders how to repair bicycles. Some of the parts were S/A, which I am keeping; most of the parts are Shimano. I think they are "333" parts. Some are new in packaging with no description other than the part number. Some are loose and some are in opened bags that that have had one of the identical parts removed.
The Shimano parts are offered for free, but I would like to have the recipient offer to pay shipping. I estimate about 3 pounds of parts.

Following up from one of last year's PIFs...Thank you Unworthy1 for the tools (6mm hex stem and flat wrench). It seems to be my bike DAY as I also got all the stuff I bought, the two Safe-T-Horns for Tempest and Germaine and Troxel seat for my next Rollfast Beryl.
It was on the C&V PIF I now gather...
So I thanked him twice.

I have an Atom 32H hub which came as a parts lot. It appears to have never been laced. I think the numbers on the center of the hub shell suggest a manufacture date of July 1981. I tried to sell it on eBay a few times, but gave up. It's certainly not as collectable (or as nice) as Campy hubs from that era, but I'd still like to see it go to someone who can use it. Yours for postage.

I must have found the other PIF section because I posted my thank you there...
Don't hesitate if you need this...it was an excellent PIF.

Ahh, if only it were a left, I could use it for converting my 2x9 into 1x. (I suppose that's what you did to get an orphaned right). I'm sure somebody else can put it to good use.

I have a GoPro Hero 3 near perfect condition - I'm not sure what accessories will come with it but I should have an oem housing but no cable or mini SD card. I'll keep this up here for a week and then off to GoodWill or craigslist.
****EDIT*** First to claim was bikepro.
More stuff later

Can I claim the Go Pro? PM being sent... With all the additions to my bike family it should finally be time I make a live action video for my You Tube saga Tempest The Grey Bike Grows Up, and I haven't made an installment since June 2012 as well (shame on me).
