This reminds me I need to start a poll and see how the various regions end the Jingle Bells Batman ditty. In the area I grew up in it was:
Jingle bells, Batman smells, Robin laid an egg..
Batmobile lost a/it's wheel/wheels and Superman is dead.

According to my wife though, the correct lyrics for central Virginia are:
Batmobile lost a/it's wheel/wheels and Joker got away.

What say ye? What forum should I put the poll in if not this thread?

The water still sprays up your back and runs down your crack, though. Ask me how I know.

...today's ride was on the Millennium Falcon. I once made the Kessel Run in less than 12 Parsecs on this bike.

Looks pre-Millennial to me.

I think vintage bikes get attention because at least around here (bay area california) most roadies are on carbon bikes. They are just rarer, not cooler, though some stuff like my vintage bianchi are timeless

I'll gladly concede that yes, 1960s Schwinns were not crafted, but did exhibit handwork. I'm still not sure why you chose them as the exemplar of "older stuff," but this exchange seems to have run its course. Cheers.

It's called parody, you're apparently unfamiliar with the concept.

In the thread about the "carbon fiber wonder bike", someone actually and seriously used the phrase " dog whistle " to describe the headline. AFAIK, that phrase is never used to describe anything but racist statements.

No poll, no thread. Obviously, Joker got away because of the lost wheel.

I did it in 12.2, so congrats, but I won't be doing it again because Kessel coffee really sucks.

Ignore, just a test to see if the Multi Quote function still works.

no but I get to deal with them when I rotate back to the states. I will say it was better when I was back last time (2017-2019), next time I head back I’m looking to go to Alaska and I’d imagine it’s ok up there.

About as new as you can get. Only ridden about 2 blocks. I got to drive it home for the owner.

Seeing that one and this one going down the road together would be a hoot. People would be talking about both bikes.
