The steadiness of my hands deteriorates after a half hour of using the string trimmer.

FYI there are medicines to reduce hand tremors (like nonselective beta blockers, certain seizure medicines and benzodiazepines) but I do not recommend them. They are actually banned as PED’s in archery and other similar sports. They are NOT PEDs for cycling.

I'm doing just fine*.
*except for November - March
I did it for over two hours yesterday.
No hand unsteadiness detected.
You checked?

The ride into the local mountains tomorrow might not happen. 30mph wind with gusts to 40. Drat.
There is a ride to Beverly Hills and it has some climbing. Also, lots of traffic.

I did not check per se, but the beta blockers reduce HR and are going to reduce maximum exercise capacity and thus inhibit performance on the bike, and the others are sedatives in some way and should not improve your cycling in any rational way. I know my drugs pretty well.

My club has an annual Spring Breakout Day ride. It's always a mess the first 3-4 miles as the group will consist of riders with zero miles up to riders with thousands so far this year.
Weather should be fantastic which is not often the case. Low 70s and light winds at the start and nearing 80º by finish. In the past, it's interesting that if it's 45º with a howling wind and rain, the zero miles people ride and the thousand+ mile people give it a pass.

I've been AWOL recently due to traveling in England and some medical changes that have gone very well. I got a new drug and either the pharmacist or my doctor's nurse has called me every other day to make sure it's going well (which it is). It was weird getting calls in England especially when the first question was. "So, where are we at today?"
Anyway, life is grand.
