I know it's been requested before, but for us cultural-Luddites & for those who may not be Americans, can everyone please include the name of the (all but those universally known, e.g. Barbie, the Carters, Sophia Loren, etc.) celebrity when posting? Love this thread but it's getting depressing being reminded of how out of touch I am.

^^^^^^^ Agree. Good request. And this may go both ways: some members not knowing who Charlie Chaplin or Sophia Loren or Elizabeth Taylor are (imagine that!).

I was just doing some 'research' and I found this (2nd July 2016):

18 Celebs Who Bike in Style

In honor of Tour de France this weekend, see the best style on two wheels.
https://www.harpersbazaar.com/celebr...style/?slide=1
I did recognise about 6/18 names.

Somebody called Pamela Anderson apparently, and definitely not Barb Wire

I was listening Luna today, so a shout-out to the amazingly prolific Dean Wareham.

David Soul and Paul Michael Glaser AKA Starsky & Hutch

So... We might as well have Cagney & Lacey (Tyne Daly and Sharon Gless)

gentleman in brown jacket is David Soul

rider up front is Paul Michael Glaser

likely posted because David Soul just passed at the age of eighty:
