Bridgstone MB1
[h=2]Bridgstone MB1 - $450 (Saco ME)[/h]

1986 Bridgestone MB-1 Frame 21 inch. The decals are from a early 90's Bridgestone. The frame is true and straight with very little rust. There is one small dent on the top tube. Could use a tune up due to sitting.
Here is the parts list:
- Factory fork.
- Ritchey Force stem
- Ritchey 1in threaded head set
- Shimano XT front and rear under chain stay brakes.
- Shimano XT crank.
- Shimano XT front and rear dérailleur.
Trades welcome

This is pretty nice, one or two questionable accoutrements notwithstanding.

Price might be a tad ambitious, but not by much (nor unreasonably so, in my opinion).

1984 Bianchi Super Leggera Celeste 56cm Ed Litton Paint
[h=2]1984 Bianchi Super Leggera Celeste 56cm Ed Litton Paint - $850 (Cape Cod/Harwich)[/h]

condition: excellent
make / manufacturer: Bianchi
model name / number: Super Leggera
serial number: 685
size / dimensions: 56cm

1984 Bianchi Super Leggera road bike.Same as used by Italian team in 1984 Summer Olympics. Lugged Columbus SL/SP double butted chromoly frame measures 56cm center to center with 32.5" stand over height. Bike was repainted by Ed Litton in the late 2000's far superior to original finish and updated with mix of modern silver ( to keep the vintage look ) Veloce ,Chorus , and Record Campagnolo Ergo shifting 9 speed components.TTT handlebars and stem. Wheels are Athena hubs with Mavic SUP Open Pro 32 spoke wheels with Vittoria Celeste 700x23c tires.Original Super Record pantographed seat post .Kind of like driving a vintage Ferrari resto-modded with modern shifting and braking.Bike is flawless except for one touched up nick on top tube.Condition is near show quality.Drive train has less than 600 miles logged since conversion.I have really enjoyed it but have too many bikes. First $850 picked up takes it.I answer responses that include a phone number.

A so-early-90's-it-hurts mtb that's in great shape for a paltry price. Someone buy it before I do something irresponsible.

Brian Rourke frameset, hand-made English-$95 obo. Currently still building Rourke Framesets - Custom Built Road and Mountain Bike Frames. Some reviews claim the quality to be the same or better than Holdsworth, but I have no idea. Paint a bit tired and some rust, maybe through the chrome.

I could well be wrong, but that looks older than the stated 1998. I see that the Columbus sticker doesn't mention the type of tubing. Also, the Dura-Ace rear derailleur (740x?) is mid-80s I think. Unless there are problems with the frame, that bike would seem to be a steal. In fact, given that it is on CL, I think you might have to start from that assumption and require proof that it's not.

Mixed group, but looks solid. Some may quibble with the price, but it doesn't seem unreasonable- especially for around here.

That's a funky mix of high end parts on a nice frame. It's well worth the $200.

Thatnwould be a good find for the very tall rider.

Looks like an "A" on the BB which would make it an '86-87. If the seller is 6'8" , that would give some reassurance as to legitimate owner LOL. I'd think a thief would have to be pretty dense to post the serial # in the ad.

I've always wanted one of these:

Campagnolo Corkscrew
[h=2]Campagnolo Corkscrew - $90 (Chelmsford)[/h]

© craigslist - Map data © OpenStreetMap

(google map)

condition: excellent
make / manufacturer: Campagnolo
size / dimensions: 12" x 5" x 2"

An invention of Tullio Campagnolo, the CAMPAGNOLO BIG corkscrew is the perfect wine opener for any Campagnolo fan. A wide, sharp, hardened steel screw combined with a self centering mechanism ensures that the cork is drawn out effortlessly. Long arms pivot smoothly on Campagnolo chainring bolts. This corkscrew is used, in very good condition, and opens wine bottles flawlessly. There is some wear on the top ring and on one lever arm, which is shown in the pictures. Satin silver finish. Sells for $225 new. Email me with questions.
