Damn and I was exited about this 40 dollar, oddly grouped Nishiki Rally for my daughter, haha. Although, I did pick up a Dura-Ace rear freewheel hub for 10 bucks and the seller threw in an original model Park Tool Pro wheel truing stand! Good Kharma to the rescue!

A great shape, my-size, cool-colored 1987 Schwinn Super Sport for way less than $300? Yes, please! Shimano 600 with indexed shifting and wheels upgraded to Dura Ace? Twist my arm!

Bought it while it was raining cats and dogs outside the Public Storage unit. Will ride soon enough!

The Nishiki is sold already, and will be turned into a brake booster bracket and linkage for my latest toy. 1970 Torino, which was not quite as good a deal price wise. Especially since the motor just blew up on me. Long block 302 in my future, so I should probably start selling more bikes.,,,,BD

Wow nice upgrade, and with fuel prices so low right now, why not! I used to live next an very old couple in SF that bought theirs new and still drove it, but it had the vinyl covered top. I prefer the clean look of yours.

I have this Enik Bike from 1990s. Enik was a German cycle company and has shutdown down production in 2007. I could gather from internet that they used to produce good bikes with Columbus alloy frames from Italy. Recently I restored it and this is how it looks now. I ride around 30-40 KMs/week on this.
This is a 7 speed bike. Can anybody give any clue of what would be the market value of this bike?

Today's freebie. 80-ish Raleigh Olympian. Unfortunately even if this is my size, I'll have to flip it. Too many keeper bikes. Will start a thread when I work on it.

That is seriously nice, great pickup. I'm still looking for another Schwinn to keep my '85 Peloton company, it's out there somewhere.

Hi, and welcome to the forums. I don't know much about that bike, but some people here very well might. I'd suggest that you post photos of it (preferably more and closer) in the C&V Appraisals forum. It's much more likely to be seen by someone who can tell you its value if it's posted there. Good luck!

Alley find, abandoned Raleigh Super Course, Capella lugs, 531 tubing, I'm thinking 1973. Spray painted pea soup green which preserved the chrome dropouts. Had a Sugino AT crank, nothing else. Finished with non stock Toyota Spruce Mica and repro decals.

I think for $100; I like it!

Bikepedia has a 2003 5200 that looks like this exactly, except the color scheme. I'm guessing they had two different ones available that year?

Ran across a rather smallish, blink and you'd miss it, kinda yard sale yesterday. And they just so happened to have a bike my size (23")! Was told by the seller that he purchased it (presumably new) in 1978.

He said he did extensive work to the bike in 1995. Had the frame custom painted. Cleaned, greased, and repacked all of the bearings. And, replaced the original seat. I'm thinking he may have also replaced the cassette at some point as it does not look original to me, not that I have any basis for comparison. Tires are terribly dry rotted, but luckily I picked up some spares during Wal*Mart's spring clearance event a couple months ago.

As for what the bicycle is, was told it is a Schwinn Le Tour II. Labeling and badge are absent from the frame, apparently already removed sometime prior to the custom paint job, so just going to assume that bit of information from the prior owner is accurate.

Bang up job with that SC! Great to see something like that rolling again.i like the parts selection as well. Those Suntour barcons really make for some trouble free riding.
