That fork looks like a total structural failure waiting to happen.

Vertically stiff and laterally compliant. That's the way it's supposed to be, right?

Still hasnt sold. This has been listed on the 'bay for a loooong time. Classic Turin and still has the cool Picasso headbadge. The Ideale saddle is worth a good bit on its own. I think this is the "deluxe" model with alloy rims and nicer frame/components.

Pretty close, anyway. They still made the Team and Pro.

Specialized Ruby Elite Carbon, 51cm 3x10sp, $42

Specialized Ruby Elite Carbon road bike, 51cm, 3x10spd, $42 @ Louisville KY area, CraigsList. (At least, that's where the ad pops up, though the map in the ad shows Milwaukiee, WI.)

.
Beautiful Carbon road bike. Triple rings up front; ten in the back - 30-speeds. Mostly Shimano 105 components. Very light - less than 20 pounds. In very good shape. Not totally sure of the size. I think it is a 50 or 52cm. My son was using it until he was about 5' 7". It it too small for him now. Let me know if you have questions or would like to take it for a ride.

.

Ad's been up about 8 days.

Vintage Masi Steel Bicycle with Campagnolo Groupo - RED- 54 CM - $700 (Newton, MA)

Vintage Masi Bicycle with Campagnolo Groupo BRIGHT red with chrome fork
and chainstay.

CIAO !!!! I am selling my amazing 2 wheel work of art because I never use it.
Looks very similar to the bicycle in Breaking Away movie

Please read entire listing before responding because I list measurements and minor
issues.

I do not know the year or model because of missing decals.
I believe it is a late 80s Nuova Strada. Real Steel.
The previous owner said he pieced it together from parts.

The bottom bracket has a 3 digit number and yellow triangle.
It may also be a repaint, just looking at some of the scratches and bits, maybe just how it was hand made.

This bike is rare / one of a kind because it is probably the only with all these pieces together.
I am not a bike mechanic, but if you photograph a bike on a repair stand, buyers will pay more.
If you copy my idea of the Moka Espresso maker for Italian bicycle listings, then please Venmo me $1 for royalties
Price is firm at this time, I know what I have! Non Rompere i Coglioni !!!!!
If I no havea what I think I havea, or I havea somethinga better than I thoughta, I may changea the price, Capiche !!!
If it does not sell in a week, then I will put $1 in the price field to trick people into looking at my listing
I will also repeat the listing for 6 months, every week, over and over until you get tired of looking

Masi Vintage Steel Bicycle
Bright red
14 speeds
Chrome fork and right chainstay
Super light - it really flies
Approximate weight is 19 pounds.
Lightweight Selle Italia seat

Campagnolo groupo everything: crank, pedals, seat post, brake levers
derailleurs, headset, shift levers, hubs, skewers, shift levers, calipers and even brake pads are all Campy.
Handlebars unknown because they are wrapped, but says 3ttt on the neck

I believe this to be a 54 CM frame because there is a 54 stamped on the
bottom bracket. Also 3 digit serial number at top.

Approx measurements:

BB to seat is 21 1/2", 54cm
BB to middle head tube is 24", 61cm

Top tube, 30 1/2" 78 1/2 cm
Seat to head is 21", 53 1/2 cm
Handle bars 15" center to center

170 cranks
700cm rims

ISSUES:
First, this bike is probably over 30 years old, so the decals are peeling and there are
some spots where paint is scratched
Chrome has patina / rust. Photos of stickers are from 2 years ago, they are all gone now.
Brake lever hoods are cracked, some photos are from 2 years ago as well.
One of the pedal end caps are missing
Tires are like new, but tubes leak air.
Rear wheel needs minor truing.
The front derailleur chain rod is missing.
Biggest issue is one of the cranks has a few crossed threads on the outside.
Should be an easy fix to thread chase.

Asking $700

Please reply with phone number if interested.

Located in Newton / Waltham / Watertown.

Thank you.

" "This bike is rare / one of a kind because it is probably the only with all these pieces together" "

According to this guy all of my bikes are rare!!! Yippie!!!

" "I am not a bike mechanic, but if you photograph a bike on a repair stand, buyers will pay more" "

I somehow don't think this is true.

I now Masi bikes are really nice but $700 seems like a lot for a Nuovo Record bike that has tonnes of nicks and scrapes and needs a complete overhaul.

But what if the stand is adorned with a cheap aluminum coffee pot?

And yes, it sure looks like that pedal is about to fall off.
