Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I really liked the TSX size. The TLX just feels too big to me. But alas, the TSX is no more.

So...There is a bear roaming the woods of Philadelphia, in an area that is very popular with hikers, walkers, joggers and MTB-ers.

The weather is in that weird zone where it's chilly and windy. After having quite a few days of good weather, it's difficult to find tights and stuff and head out. I feel guilty and am going to try to get out but I keep wondering if a few days rest would do me good until the weather improves.

The TSX was a great car. Really liked it and should have kept it.

Always a good plan. Don't ride today if you can put it off until tomorrow.

It's chilly and windy here too. My friend is doing a half IM tri in the poconos today. I hope he does not get hypothermia.

We hit 90 a couple weeks ago and had frost advisories the last two nights. We dug out our winter coats for the day trip yesterday. Continued craziness.

We used to have a set of that Luminarc tempered glass dinnerware. You know, the kind you could drop on the floor a thousand times, and it would just bounce. But once in a very great while it would break. And man, when it broke, it made about a billion pieces of glass. Tiny pebbles, none of them sharp, but they were everywhere. We would be finding them in nooks and crannies for years after that.

Remember the two cars we drive are identical but for color...and the new dent, of course. She is not happy. I did not mention that the first damage to the car was done by herself. I think that was smart, don't you? A quick repair is my only hope.
You're doomed.

Pretty much like here and windy, too. I'm going to ride a sheltered urban trail just to get out.

I plan to yell at runners to run in the street like normal people do.

It started raining just after I left the house.
