I bought this Specialized Epic for $50.99 from Goodwill:
I actually just needed the Shimano 600 tricolor groupset from there. I sold the frame for $40 and the wheels for $60. I guess it was a good price because they sold in 1 day.
In other words I bought a Shimano 600 groupset for -$50. Thanks to Vitma for posting up the listing!

Repainted Cap Sieger frame, serial number very close to that of my other Sieger, so who was I to say no to it? -- bought on eBay
Almost all-orig. 1960 Capo Sieger -- bought locally

After making due for years I finally got some big boy bikes a few years ago and they make a huge difference.
I was buying a lot of 60-63cm which are big but then I bought a 66, then another and it is so much better, especially since I had been riding too small bikes most of my life.
I had figured out how to make them work with tall stems and seatposts but those are band aids and don't let the frame work correctly.

Bought a Stowaway on eBay UK and had it shipped to Japan.
I rode it like this for a week or so, then took it apart and stripped off the paint. It’s still a work in progress, I’ve got the rack, fenders, fork, and front half of the frame painted. I’ll get the rear half of the frame and the rear fork done over the next few days.
I replaced the bearings, stem, bar, seat post, and brake lever, and got a less-used front wheel with a dynamo hub. Hopefully I’ll have it on the road before next weekend.
