Oops, I wasn't very clear. The $200 price was for the Braxton only, the Lighthouse is $225, the Schwinn is $175. If it were $200 total, there wouldn't be any CL ads anymore. I'm still considering the Braxton for the parts. If it's still around when I drive by in two weeks...

#greg3rd48, I'd really like to see a picture of that Fuji finished. I was real tempted to drive out there for it, but I've already got too many projects going on. I'm not surprised you could just slap some wheels on and ride it.

Great bike
has new bar tape, chain,
and recent tune up

Campy rear derailler and rest sun tour cyclone components

Asking $180
I went and looked at this today. It's a 22.5" frame. When Trek made non racing frames in inches. It's a tick too small for me. It needs a little work, like a head set adjustment to be mechanically sound and a good cleaning but it all works as is. Also the stem is very short, like a 60mm. The seller asked me to make an offer to move it along so it's OBO. I took it for a spin, pretty smooth but tires a bit worn.. It rides just fine. Brake hoods are Campy, like the rear mech.
I think it's a bad time of year to sell, even in 70º sunny SoCal.

Is $20 a good price for a Colnago? Those wheel reflectors, on the other hand, are clearly worth $20.

Thanks for the clarification. I'm glad I didn't ask if I could view it. Interesting blog though... I'll bookmark it.

That does change things. I have an extremely high opinion of that seller - both as a person and as far as transactions. I think most would want something more substantive, but if he says it's Lance's bike...I'd feel pretty comfortable betting it was Lance's bike.

Huh, I had no idea it was Leoner's bike for sale...I bought my Tommasini from him and, yup, I was very happy with the transaction. Super.

Hrmmmm, I think that there is a plate welded on to the bottom of the BB, perhaps the frame is toast...

I plan on coming back with 2 Merckx bikes and a bunch of Merckx gear. It will be worth the 155 mile drive.
