Hey y'all, I'm rolling the dice again. I'm in need of a chrome road fork for a late 70s 53/54 cm frame. Must have a crown. In addition to my undying gratitude I also have a few tasty parts to trade. Thanks.

Here's some stuff I'm really, seriously hurting for to finish a couple projects:
* You know I need a complete French thread headset with frame races - tall nut like this from a mid-80's Peugeot
* Allen-head rear seat pinch bolt+hanger, to fit mid-80s Peugeot (complete example)
* A decent pair of laced 700c wheels+hubs (trade + cash obviously)
* Generator for an 1984 EU-borne Peugeot PH8
* Rear fender for a OU-8/PX-8/OU-18/ similar with black stripe thru center
Here's some stuff I'm not hunting heavily for (yet) but would actively trade for:
* Cable housing: Clear brake cable housing and some off-white vintage shift and brake cable housing
* Fork crown race (crown race only) for a Stronglight A9/B10 rollerbearing headset
* Mafac straddle/bridge cables (I can use cheap shift cables, this isn't high on the list)
* Mafac 4-button pads that aren't dry-rotted are great to have spares of
* Hex-head bottle cage bolts, NOS/French preferred
* New or lightly used tires for 27" steels and 700c, Paselas/Schwalbe/Panas/similar
* Shimano stuff: toe clips for 105 pedals, a pair of braze-on chrome shifter bosses, also looking for golden arrow levers and FD/RD
* ????

ISO: 120mm/36h rear hub for a vintage Suntour PT-5S 5 speed freewheel. Hopefully mid 1980s Japanese manufacture (Shimano Deore, Sunshine/Sanshin, Suntour). Not a restoration so make and model less important than size/fit. Attepting to avoid cold setting the vintage frame.
Thanks to JDT, the hub is on its way. So here's what it's for.
This 30 year old Bridgestone T700. The rear wheel is an original 27 inch 40 spoke Araya Rim with an original SanShin Gyro Master hub. Since rims wear out, I'm going to hang this one up for future use and build a 36 spoke wheel on a Sun CR18 rim and the Shimano 600 hub that JDT had. The Shimano is an equivalent age and quality to the original, so Yeah!

ISO:
-a long 26.4 seatpost (for a mountain bike with steeply sloped top tube), anything late 80s/early 90s would be appropriate
-Suntour XC seat post binder
-Hite-Rite to fit 26.4
(yes, my saddle/seatpost were stolen)
Have:
-A whole lot of random stuff, too much to list. Let me know what you need!

The A9 and Delta headsets came in 26.4 and 27.0; I assume the B10 did as well. But the 26.4 size is the most common.

Speaking of 26.4 seatposts, does anyone know of one with setback? I haven't run across many and the Dura Ace one I did find was nowhere near long enough (like David, I need a tall one) and the price was rather dear.
Not trying to cut in front of David, I just have a bike that I feel the need to move the saddle a bit further back (or get one with rails that allow it to sit further back), and am wondering what I should be looking for. Also, the 2 bolt origin 8 I have on there is fine, but rather ugly.

This might sound crazy, but does anyone wtt your 10 speed BLACK groupset, for my 10 speed alloy/chrome 10 speed campy groupset? PM if you're interested.
Perhaps I should post this somewhere else but this is my favorite place!
Thanks,
Ryan

It's a brooks knock off saddle that I have back as far as it will go in the rails before the rails narrow and would like to go a bit further back. I like that saddle and would prefer to change the seatpost and keep the saddle, but if long 26.4 seatposts with setback are as hard to find as they seem (and I could be missing something obvious that was why I was requesting if anyone knew of a specific one), I'll have to replace the saddle.
What level (and bits) specifically are you looking for? I have a black Centaur Triple FD (and I think the daytona triple FD I have is black too) that I'm not using, and might have 10 speed Centaur levers that are carbon. All my other bits are alloy.

Well I have a veloce group, brifters, crankset, brake calipers, derailleurs. So I'd like to get that stuff in return if possible, but I would prefer double crankset stuff.

Interested ones,
Testing the waters here for a frame trade.
My frame: 1987 Univega Alpina pro MTB. Smokey chrome. 20" seat tube, 22" top tube. Chainstay brake, triple butted main tubes chromoly fork and stays. Smokey beat up but all chrome underneath nice. Comes with Shimano XT Deore uni brake, bad headset and Seatposts clamp.
Wanted frame: late 80's- early 90's GT MTB. 20" seat tube, paint so so. DB tubing required.
I miss not having a GT around !
If anyone interested, I will post pics of frame. FYI... Also have a 90 Schwinn crosscut, 84 Schwinn high Sierra hanging around.
Thanks, 3 Speed Slow
Edit: Decided to keep the Univega, the chrome underneath got to me.

ISO: Campagnolo record crank arms, no rings needed, date 1973. That is three in a diamond. Don't need to be perfect, but I need to be able to clean them up for polishing so major scratches are out.
Trade bait. Campagnolo record crank arms, post CPSC date 83 and 84. Similar condition to what I seek. If they were the right date I would use them. Also a set of crankarms that are drilled ala Italvega Superlight. Photo below of bike with the cranks mounted.

I have the derailleur, am interested in Campy NR, SR tuning parts, also seat post binders. Might have dust caps, are they the Brev. version?

Hi everyone, ISO: TA Pro 5 Vis chainrings, 46T and 36T. For trade: TA Pro 5 chainring 52T (off a 1974 Motobecane Grand Record)(and sundry other parts...).
