I have this one and a couple of the MAFAC hangers if smontanaro doesn't find any.

Yes, that's the one. I may be in touch, depending on what smontanaro's trawl of the parts bin turns up.

Have: very nice Campagnolo Chorus 9 speed group, English and Italian b/b. Campy d/t cable stops and a nice straight set of Campagnolo Proton wheels.

want: Campagnolo super Record 6 speed group, Italian thread b/b and a nice set of 6 speed wheels with campy hubs and skewers.

an even trade would be nice. I really want to go back to friction shifting on my Ciocc.

I did not get a chance to look when I thought so that will be further delayed...if you're in a hurry maybe the 3TTTs that Bill offers ^ will get you done quicker, but let me know if I should hold off looking.

Understand why you prefer the Cinelli bars, if you do find at some point you can use the 3ttt bars, they are available for your use. Best wishes on your finishing up your bike.

I am looking for:

1. Downtube cable adjusters, the kind that mount to brazed-on mounts for dt shifters
2. A set of recessed mount brake nuts, f & r. I am not even sure if these come in standard lengths.
3. (maybe) A set of moustache bars, 25.4 clamp, that can take bar-end shifters. It'd need to be a cheap and/or scruffy example.

I have:

I've cleared out much of my bin, but I can offer in trade:
-Some mid-to-upper level early 80s Japanese parts: Cyclone mk2 front & rear mechs, Gran-Compe non-aero levers, KKT pedals, SR stem (10cm) & bars (39cm) etc.
-The 86bcd Stronglight rings mentioned in my post above
-A really nice Grand Bois front hub, some 3TTT handlebars, other stuff in my thread here.

I unfortunately don't have the elusive 28-tooth ring in 86 BCD. The smallest I have is a 32.

I have these NOS Suntour.

I'd be willing to trade for the 86mm bcd Stronglight rings, or just the 30 tooth ring.

Whoa, I didn't know Suntour made those. I should've been clearer -- I can only spare the 30t if I can find a 28.

I think I need an 8 speed uniglide cassette only made in 1989. If someone knows a work around, (that allows me to use the wheel), or has proper cassette to trade, I have lots of vintage Campy, DA, and Shimano 600 items.

No wonder the wheel was cheap...

That is the original HG freehub and should be compatible with UG and HG cassettes. It's a hair shorter than the HG-c freehub and I think it doesn't work with 11 tooth small cogs, 12 is as small as you can go... I think...

If I can use the hg series, that's cool, they seem cheap and readily available, compared to the isis cassettes.

see above, changed. I think you are mistaking SIS on the hub shell for something else. There is not ISIS cassette that I am aware of, you just have a first gen HG freehub, should work with and 12-xx HG cassette

I've made a mess of this, by being both ignorant and in a hurry. Cy, I apologize, my memory stinks not isis but Uni-glide. They sound the same right? I read on Sheldon, that it is different from the hg and only made one year. I don't know if that changes anything, or everything.

it's hard to tell from the photo, You might have a UG cassette, in which case I would say your best option is to swap it for HG. There are some differences but I think in many cases it is possible. Lots of people on here have done it.

It's hard to tell from the picture, but it looks like the inside of the freehub body is threaded for a lock ring. If it is threaded then it's HG compatible.

As noted, it looks to be HG compatible.

One of the the only carbon bikes I'd want. LOVELY!

Nope, you don't. If it's a Dura Ace hub, you have a 7403 hub with the standard diameter threads. That means it is UG/HG compatible. You won't be able to use an 11t sprocket, as mentioned above, but who really needs that anyway? I have two of these, very nice hubs and compatible all the way up to 10 speed. If it doesn't spin like butter, rebuild and enjoy!

11speed? 10 speed to me is 5 in back and 2 in front. I have only one modern "10 speed," and that one only has one ring in front. (1999 Litespeed Frankenbike i just posted in show your titaniums.)

That's great news everyone, thanks for the support!
HG 8+ speeds are very affordable. I do have tons of trade goods. I'm always in the market for 1970's weight weenie items. It's my roots. And in my blood.

You appear to have Campy Chorus(?) on your Kestrel, @Last ride 76. Are you planning a Shimergo setup or converting all the way over to Shimano?
