That's pretty awesome, I would have offered him some cash if it was around here. It'd be a game to see how many questions I could get on the MUP.

In a world of unrealistic expectations - an honest seller!!

Buffalo Craigslist

Huffy 929 Mens 12 Speed Bike - $ 10 (Elma)

Contents of Ad - "I have for sale a Huffy 929 mens 12 speed bike. It sat in the garage for several years but looks to be in decent condition"

Why?

1982 Schwinn Voyageur SP - $200 (Mebane)

"If interested you can contact me at jim27302@yahoo.com
or text at 336-459-0380

I'm selling this bike for my brother-in-law because it's a little to small for him and he's wanting to get road bike. It's in excellent condition. He's had it about a year. See photos for more details. If you have more questions after seeing photos, I'll do my best to answer or relay them to him. I'm 5'8 and able to ride it comfortably. Measures 21" from the center of crank to bottom of seat post.

I'm in the Mebane area, about 15 minutes from Burlington, Graham, Hillsborough or Chapel Hill, about 30 minutes from downtown Durham or Greensboro and about an hour from Raleigh. If this ad is still up then it is still available. I can meet you at my home or within 5 miles at a safe public place for free. I'd have to charge for meeting any further away that this.

Thanks for looking!

To see my other listings on Craigslist, do a craigslist search for JimmyDeanz."

(The rare and elusive lime green fixie form of the 1982 Voyageur SP... Can not tell with certainty from photos posted whether it's been drewed; I fear the worst. (Does sort of look intact.))

(a) look at that rear tire clearance! Usually it's the front tire that's been crashed up to the downtube!

(b) "The frame is a size Small/ 44 cm and perfect for a an average height person" -- more like perfect for an average height person's runty child

With a seat post that bent I'd be worried the frame is cracked at the seat tube.

I think this is the first time i have seen a backwards fork on a vintage bike...I just don't understand the backwards fork thing, like how does it look right to anyone that has ever seen a bike?

I think I've seen the concept pop up before. That is one badly mangled fork from a front end collision. It has more negative rake than positive rake, and thus reversed to compensate. I'd be surprised if the crown race is still at the right angle and steering was smooth.

The frame also has the typical top tube/down tube damage from a front end collision.

For a low value bike, it is worth about the value of the rear wheel and maybe front wheel, crankset, derailleurs, and bars. $20 to be generous?

Wonder if that's a Thompson set back post almost all the way down and backwards.

Little bit of a head scratcher. Looks like a pretty nice bike frame.

Cannondale curb alert act fast (927 Apollo Beach blvd)

Sitting in container at curb. Cannondale Frame that looks great. Clip ons. Can't take it as I'm an Irma refugee and have enough stuff to deal with. Go get it fast as it's at the curb. Look for the apts in the photos. Just south of Land and Sea Docks. You can't see it from the road. You have to look in the container.

Oh, that would be a great find. But, I've given up on the "free" ads that say to swing by and pick something up. It is a pain to go out of one's way to find it already gone. In this case, who will get there first, the garbage man, or the dumpster diver?

Doesn't look all that wacky to me. Yes it's been modded a bit but not outrageously as some are.

Another OOPS!!! And a dreamer.

Colnago Master Frame (For Parts or Not Working) $500

Apparently no fork. The seller allows offers, but also is using an auto-decline on lowball offers.

There is another Crashed Colnago frame on E-Bay that I've tried to communicate with the seller, but have gotten no response so far. Let's see how many years this one says up
