Yesterday, I rode 25 miles round trip on the Armstrong Trail along the Allegheny River, from Kittanning, PA to some point past Greys Eddy. It was 47 and cloudy when I started and a sunny 60 degrees when I returned to my car. I ended up stripping layers as I when along. Once I got outside of Kittanning, I only saw 3 other people over twenty miles - I saw more deer than people, actually. At a few points, I could hear no sounds of human origin at all. I really liked that. The leave are past their peak, by my estimation, but still a nice day to be out.
It was my first ride on the Armstrong. The trail seems a little narrower than the GAP, but pretty well maintained. I think I might start at the Brady's Bend end the next time I ride it.
Monticello Furnace
Power Station (I could hear the electrical "hum" across the river)
Bend in the Allegheny River
Trail was in great shape!

Definitely on my to-do list. Sadly, it's not likely to happen before springtime.

This afternoon I took the Sedona out for the first time in three months. I rode a stretch of road that runs 1.5 miles through a riverfront park and a light industrial area along the Ohio and Beaver Rivers within a few miles of my home. Hopefully this will someday become part of the proposed Ohio River Greenway Trail system that would connect the Montour Trail along the Ohio River to Ohio, and along the Beaver River to New Castle (and eventually Erie, PA).

I did a nice relaxed 3+ laps for a total of 11.2 miles as the sun set. I forgot how much fun it is to ride the steel-framed Sedona ST.

Did an easy ride today. Started at the city and rode to the coast along Linear Park.
Explored around the international airport. This is as close as I could get to planes without being dragged away by the cops.
Back in the city again.
Rode some of the old Adelaide F1 track. These new slicks really do stick like s*** to a blanket
Same corner. It's the hair pin turn onto the start finish straight. Once a year massive construction takes place for possibly the biggest Touring Car race in the country, then it's all pulled down till next year. Crazy!

Sunday started out a nice (if cool) day. Met a friend on the river bike path for a slow ride (he tops out a 12mph). But on the way home Ol' Ma Nature was feeling frisky. Had a front flat about 2mi from home. Damn, that's a long walk. That's flat #6 on this bike (first one since I put these Armadillo tires on), #3 this month of three bikes. It must be National Shatter your glass bottle on the bike path Month. But I took the same bike out for another ride that afternoon (wind be damned). 1,292mi on this bike this year (out of 4,053).

Ha the parishioners are to early for me, I can't wake up that early on Sundays.
I guess those Alfa's are brought in by rich collectors. Those SZ's are rare and very unusual aren't they. The Montreal's are just darn expensive with there quad cam engines.

The two were beautiful but I prefered the Montreal. The motor was so loud and had a great sound. They are both Osaka number plates, and were heading back that way. The motorway was about 1km away so my guess they would have been opening them up there.

After riding from the city to Norton Summit I was low on water and had to start rationing. Still a great but slow ride though.
I'm thinking of mounting my S110 to my helmet and filming the down hills here, there awesome !!

Snatched a 20 mile ride this afternoon, avoiding thorns, manure and mud. Fresh 6c but all enjoyable. This is about as good as it gets at this time of year in North Yorkshire.
Nice to see sunny pictures posted by others.

The next temple after the above one, has a tomb of one of the famous Samurai from many eras back.
I know where there is a hidden tomb containing a past Emperor. It is up a quiet path, where thousands of tourists pass every day, but have no idea of what's at the end. Along the river which I ride along every day, is the location where there was a mass suicided by Samurais. There are protected floors here in some buidings, with samurai blood staining them from fighting. This is NOT MY PHOTO but is at one of the Temples here...
