The engine in my mom's generic kid hauler is a similar size and displacement. The next owner may get some use out of the turbo, but I doubt she will.

That's aprx. the same population as the county where our land is. It's aprx. 1500 km^2, and has had between 15,000 and 18,000 ever since 1900.

Roughly in the geometric middle, my city council district here in Madison is about 20,000 people, in about 10 km^2.

stayed two weeks in london last year. Cars were about as useful as they are in nyc. Btw, my honda fit does 128bhp with 1.5l naturally aspirated. Gets terrific mileage and hauls all kinds of crap.
