I know the hill and it's nasty. Add in constant straight 50+ mph descents and it turns a little dangerous.

Gaimon's been waiting for Lachlan to break it - he wanted a new time to aim for and didn't think it'd settle down til Lachlon (or one of a few others) did it.

We don't have them either. We solved it by keeping the population density low

I generally avoid the bike paths but this particular city is extremely bad for cyclists on the roads and the paths they have built are the best I've seen for getting around and avoiding car traffic. It's just since Corona that it has been getting zooed out and become dangerous.

I’ve been to the Erie airport. Returned a rental car there at the start of a bike tour home to Philly.

You could always head up to the Cap Trail. That's pretty remote, though, for a MUP, so there aren't too many people on it. I don't think that I've ever crossed paths with more than 20 people on a given ride.

I know the feeling you are having as I am questioning my sanity for doing something that eats up a lot of precious time for seemingly little reward. maybe I need an e-bike!
Good luck and I totally support walks with the Mrs. That is important quality time.

my daughter turned two the other day. my parents gave her a baby doll and a stroller, and I don’t think I have ever seen a living thing so happy to be alive. It was amazing.
