Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

A good argument can be made for carrying one emergency bottle, though. Like if you start choking on a bug or something.

I was tempted to get a new bike that needed dialing in. Luckily it's a couple of cms too small for me to want to dial in. Only $350!!! Maybe I should look into a leg shortening procedure.

I just noticed it's in the small-small gear combo. That's what it was like when I picked it up after work. So glad it came in and I got the sexy color instead of graphite. So smooth and fast.

This seatpost might let you get the clamp more towards the middle of the saddle rails.

Why not get a "tall cool one" seat post instead?

Actually the clamps look widely spaced, so despite the mega setback, you might still have a clamp right on the bend of the rails.
