That's awesome, congratulations.
I need to give time trialing another try. I really enjoyed the one I did.
As for me, I did my first Cat4 crit today. Very nice course, undulating and with some fast but not dangerous corners. Was hanging just fine but with four to go I decided to be a hero and attack. With two to go I got caught and the pace went right up so I got dropped. It was a really fun race. I probably should have stayed with the pack until the end but I'm not sure I would have placed well, there were some tough guys out there. Still trying to figure out what I can and cannot do.

Doing a short ride in Georgia and then headed for four days in the Smokies.
From yesterday's ride. I'm the "stocky" guy on the far left.

Guh - long day. Little bit of landscaping this morning - the latest yard addition is a magnolia (I forget the variety, but it'll have white flowers) and a few complementary shrubs. When the kid took a nap (naps are getting rarer, but he loves to help in the yard, so he was tired) I got to work on his bike. Reinstalled the crankset, fork, bars, put on new tires, trued the wheels, sized the chain, put on the new grips.
Still need to install the front brake, the chain guard, and sew up the padding covers, but it's getting close.
Oh, and before anyone asks: Yes. Yes, I did take it for a spin.

Any Canon shooters want a really good deal on a TS-E 90? No? Oh well, I tried.

I finished dead last in mine yesterday, but I showed up and gave it another try. One guy showed up on a TT bike and flew past me like I was standing still. It was amazing to see him vanish.

What happened in your TT, do you think? Pacing, fitness, wrong bike? Do you have a power meter?
Here's a pic Mr H took as I was coming past him at one point on the course. Inexpensive TT bike and you can see its pretty aero and worth a look. Fuji Norcom Straight, I got the 2.5, but might have been better off with the better frame for a similar price, since I've replaced literally everything on it except the brakes and seat post. I'm not saying this is the best TT bike out there so much as this is a big bang for your buck- good aero clean bike for not that much $.

I rode a stationary bike in my hotel's gym this morning because I forgot to pack enough cycling kit for 3 days, and I'm not about to re-wear bibs.
On the positive side, the stationary bike is obviously an optimist because it cheerfully told me I burned 1,100 calories in an hour.
BRB, getting a double cheeseburger for breakfast.

Im woefully undertrained to blast out for 12 straight miles at the speeds required to be competitive. I really need to train harder and I'm going to search for a program that gets me there today. I Zwift at home, but I really need to do more. I'm looking at the P3 again this afternoon, but that's an N+1 deal
