As a Clydesdale myself, I am allowed to laugh at this:
[h=2]Bicycle made for heavy people - $850[/h]

Date: 2012-07-09, 10:20PM CDT

Atlas-Sun 2011 this bike is made for heavy people and is lightweight, I only have about 3 miles on it, wholesale on this bike was 680 dollars from factory, my friend owns a a bike shop where I got it at that price, retail on this bike today is at least 800 dollars. I enjoy trading and will entertain all offers. Use google if you have any questions about the bike or its worth or call me at 701.258.5344.

yeah, he got it for $680, it retails for $800 and he wants $850 for it. I like his business sense (and honesty).

Not terribly outrageous, but this seller would have me believe that Next is a good LBS brand. His bike store owning friend probably got it as a trade in and wasn't willing to display it in his shop.

Let's see, no foot pegs, back-spasm inducing riding position, crappy department store brakes, center of gravity nice 'n' high, yep, definitely sign me up to do 50 MPH on this baby!

This guy strikes again. He always has infuriatingly inaccurate listings and horrible redundant pictures that only serve to highlight awful and kludgey repairs. I tried to post them to highlight the absurdity of the listing but apparently there's a bikeforums limit! haha 16 photos!!

Sorry buddy, no Raleigh enthusiast would be into your desecration of a classic. There are so many issues here I dont even know if I want to start!
1962 Raleigh Sports 21" 5 speed conversion restored EXC COND 21 inch - $199 (kingston, ma)
Date: 2012-08-26, 4:09PM EDT
Here is a bike that i pretty much restored from scratch (i have worked in the bike industry for years). I took alot of pride in this bike and if you could have seen it before you would know how much time i put into it. i have been working on it for over 3 months. so here is the skinny on it.
I know its a 62 because the original Sturmey Archer Hub (which was junk) had the date written on it. i removed all parts and Then started detailing all the chrome (such as handlebars) and touching up the bike (steel wool on alot of the part hence taking off all the rust). i then cleaned all the rubber parts (ie grips) and replaced it with a better wheelset. then i shaved down the dropouts so that modern wheelsets could fit in it and from then my original idea to put a single speed freewheel on there changed with the idea that i could try to see if i could convert it to recieve modern freewheels. i then put on a 5 speed freewheel and the Bright Red New chain. It really looked awesome so i then hit it with a few layers of clear coat and it was complete.
i love the bike and would love to see it go to a raleigh enthusiast
The bike is a 21 inch frame which I believe is good for someone who is 5'0" till 5'10" but i am not really to sure what proper heights are for english cruisers.
If the bike is still listed on craigslist it means it is still available. price is firm. people who leave phone numbers will be first responces. Will be removed from craigslist once it is sold.
FEATURES
Brand New Red Z-chain
Converted 5 speed Free wheel
Nice Leather Saddle (original) coould be brooks or could be wrights
Down tube shifter
New Tubes

ahahah check out another one of his, intended for track use ONLY:
Here is a great bike from the people at columbia that were in Westfield Massachusetts for many years.
27 inch wheels
fixed gear cog jb welded on (500 pounds of braking pressure, pretty much unbreakable
has option to do different style handlebars (drop, chopped bull horns, Ape hangers ($20 upgrade), straight bar)
after choosing the bars i will add a front brake for the buyer.
bike has a kickstand Bike is intended for track use only, the same as all fixed gear bikes,
bike is a 52cm frame so that means it can fit someone from 5'3 to 5'11"
If the bike is still listed on craigslist it means it is still available. price is firm. people who leave phone numbers will be first responces. Will be removed from craigslist once it is sold. thanks for looking

This tool of a seller drives me nuts. One of the worst CL sellers I have ever seen. You've managed to find two of these "rare" boat anchors and want too much for them. Congrats. Since you've found two, don't you think that just maybe they're about as rare as a Schwinn World?

Museum quality, my @#$%. Any Museum curator who is looking for one of these should be taken out behind the sculpture garden and strangled slowly with the rusting chain from an old Murray, and his remains turned into a goat to help conserve an old Rauschenburg painting/assemblage. You could use the tires from the Aerowind to help:
I re-wrote his ad for him and considering sending him the new (and infinitely better) version:
Since he's sold more than one damaged bike in the past without listing the damage, I doubt he'll correct his ad. But at least I can come here and rant.
Yes, I have 2 of these rare bikes. They are priced according to condition and rariety. I just installed new tires and wrapped the handlebars on this bike. Detailed and tuned in my shop. It is a clean ride and well worth the price,it is just not as nice as my Museum quality other bike listed at $240. Same dimentions as the other. , 31" standover height. Click the link to view a few of my other nice bikes.
Pristine example of a collectible bike. 53CM 21") frame with a 31" standover height. This bike was in storage for 32 years and put away right after it was purchased.New tires added and detailed and tuned in my shop. Excellent to ride and/or display as a time capusle from 1982 If you prefer do it yourself, I have an original unrestored for $100.Click the link to view a few of my other nice bikes.

I've got a Huffy Aerowind for sale. There's a lot of information on the internet about this bike, so go look it up. If you google search with the words “turd with wheels” or “aerodynamic boat anchor” you should get plenty of information. This was not Huffy's first attempt at a “high end” “bike”. In fact it wasn't even a high end bike. It wasn't an upscale bike. It wasn't even a decent bike. It was barely a bike. Huffy had some 531 frames imported from Carlton back in the early seventies, as well as the Serotta made “Huffys” from the 1980s. This bike is in a class with neither of them.
No one collects them. Any actual collector of vintage bicycles finds them good for a giggle. In good shape, one is worth around fifty dollars. That is, if you happen to be in crowd of drunken and blind sailors who are throwing money around randomly. Or if Zombies attack and bicycles are suddenly at a premium. The guy on the Aerowind will probably get eaten, so you won't have to refund his money.
However, in the time honored tradition of craigslist sellers everywhere, I insist this bike is worth a great amount of money, and if I can't find any actual information to back up what I'm saying, I'll make some up and ignore any actual information to the contrary. This bike is great, it is the rarest bike ever made, Lemond and Kelly battled in the alps riding Huffy Aerowinds, and Ernesto Colnago committed hari-kari once he saw the Aerowind, realizing that he could never build such a masterpiece. An entire generation of Italian framebuilders spontaneously combusted upon release of the Aerowind. Coincidence? I think not. When the Pope blessed an Aerowind, it didn't just kiss him back, it frenched him.
You can email me about this bike, but I have to warn you, I have the Smithsonian on the other line. They're begging me to send them this Aerowind. You can have desperate museum curators bothering you too. Drop me a line. Or, if you don't want to pay my price, you can go and look for one of the eight million other Aerowinds in existence. Their natural habitat is the nearest landfill.

Jack of all trades
This guy somewhat reminds me of the Viscount sellers who actually represent the "death fork" as a feature. Acckk!
