ISO: a high quality 27.0 seatpost in silver or that hard ano/xtr/600/ice grey preferably something that will match up nicely with Dura Ace 7400 on 90s era Phil Wood Apple Velo XS frame. Not looking super expensive but not wanting a cheap Kalloy seatpost either and Thomson doesn't do silver). Or potentially looking for a shim for a 26.8 to 27.0 seatpost.

I've owned a 26.8 silver;
maybe they skipped over 27, but that seems odd to do so.
But if they're not making them now, then they would be harder to come by.
Theere's always lye to remove the black, if all else fails.

shimano 600 crank 53/42

Hope I understood this thread...
I have a hardly used in amazing condition - shimano 600 tricolor crank 53/42

I would like a shimano 600 biopace crank even if just the main crank arm and not the non-drive side arm. Thanks for reading

if I understand you correctly, then all you need are biopace rings. The crank arms are not different. I have set I'd sell cheap.

Sure thing. Do you know the big and little ring teeth? is it 52/42...or? I really appreciate it. Let me know the best way to facilitate it.

Yea i made the comment about it cause there are shimano 600 and shimano 600 ex arms that also had biopace rings but I prefer the 600 tricolor since the rest of my bike components have it (This would be helpful if someone waned the whole crankset but had components on their bike of the other 600 styles/years I mentioned)

@Ex Pres : yeah they seemed to have skipped over 27.0 in silver. I think they still have 26.8 but if I am doing that then I am just shimming out my Nitto one from my Cilo and buying a cheaper one for the Cilo because I am probably selling that bike.

Dia compe brake clamp

The one with the nut tack-welded into the band. It's for a Modolo, but I'm fairly certain the Shimano, DiaCompe, Suntour would all work. Not the STI version.

I have a few trade items, but I'm hoping some of my recent Pay It Forwards may have one.
I have this from a Dia-Compe lever I have had in a box since late 70s. If works you are welcome to the clamp. I’ll keep the lever if I ever wreck a lever again. Ozzie

27,2, a strip of 600 grit sandpaper, 5 minutes, then a final rub with polishing compound = 27.0

I've got an aero Campy seatpost that I did that with, and to be honest I kind of regret it. It fit the bike I was sanding it for, but I sold that as a frameset and now I've got this seatpost that's probably 27.08 or so sitting on my shelf. I also never bothered polishing it smooth.

I have an SR Laprade fluted 27.0 seat post that's in excellent condition. I'm not sure that fits the aesthetic you're looking for or not, but it's at least the right size.

Yes but it is also not a thick seatpost and most folks I have talked with haven't warmed up to the idea of taking off more metal. If I was a super light person maybe but that ain't me at least not now.

Collapsing seatposts have to be the rarest of component failures I'm aware of. I've always been a Clyde and rode a post that went of a slimming diet of sandpaper and polish.

Because that missing .008 of an inch is such a chance? Surely you can't be serious.

The tall version of the Nitto Technomic used to be available with a 130mm reach. I think Nitto discontinued it maybe ten years ago--now the longest available version is a 120. I could make that work, but would like to find a 130 if I can. Does anyone have one that they're not using?

I'm also looking for a good functional set of Sansin Gyromaster hubs.

I have trade goods.

I'm easiest to reach by email: jon@redclovercomponents.com

Hi:

I'm ISO of a Cinelli 1A or 1R stem with 9 or 10 cm reach. To fit standard 1" steerer, and standard Cinelli bars from 1970s.

I've got lots of stuff for trade. Some pictures follow:

Campy SR shifters(old style, looks pretty much same as NR) with clamp:

Suntour Suberbe Pedals. two options for toe clips (Campy alloy: in size medium, Specialized "Made in Italy" in size small):

Suntour Superbe Pro Rear Derailleur, NOS, new in original box, with two Sun Tour Superbe Pro foil stickers: (more value than stem, probably)

Several seat posts. SR Laprade fluted 1 bolt 26.6 mm, Kalloy 1 bolt 27 mm, ANPI (Spanish) two bolt 27 mm:

Also, a bunch of different 70s/80s vintage brake levers: one pair Suntour Superbe (with cutouts, top right) and three pairs of Campy:

I have some other stuff for trade as well, which I will show in a second post. Most of these are sets of things that are probably not a reasonable trade for a stem, and probably best not to break the set.

Thanks for any interest!

Following on from my recent post above, some other things I have for trade.

Two black headsets for quill stems, 1" threaded stems: Chris King, and 1970s DuraAce (with silver locknut);

NOS (unused!) TA BB and lightly used cranks: This is 1.37 x 24 TPI BB and 170 mm cranks, including a 36 tooth ring (attached), and a 32 tooth ring. The spindle is 121mm and is marked TA 374. Note: lock ring for adjustable cup is NOT included:

A Sugino BB and chainrings: 1.37 x 24 TPI used BB with unused new ball bearing set. Spindle is 114 mm and is marked "SUGINO MW 68 <STRONG>". The rings are 47 and 52 and include 1 set of Chainring bolts:

Also, some small odds and ends: a "TERRY'S made in England" pant clip, a Campy seat post bolt for a 10 mm (!) hole, a RD claw with a Suntour RD bolt, and a Campy single pivot rear break from 2001 Record set (They had a dual pivot front in those days, but a single pivot rear):

And lastly, this is just for information, but I have a full Campy 10 drive train (cranks, brifters, derailleurs, cassettes ... see picture). The brifters need rebuilding. The BB needs new bearings, probably easier to just buy a new one. The RD probably needs new idler pulleys. But I've upgraded to 11 speed to match my bikes, so with some loving care, this could be renewed for many more years for 10 speed enjoyment.

Well, learned that they do not offer the 21.1 size so I guess it will have to be taken down.

I am stocking my project box with items I need for a special grail bike coming my way!! I have:

- a Nitto Dynamic 10 handlebar stem 26.0 clamp, 22.2 insert. New, inserted but never ridden with.

to trade for:

- Nitto stem 100mm reach, 26.0 clamp but a 21.1 insert diameter.

Thank you you for consideration!
