I have off Friday. Just to Belleplain State Forest in Woodbine, NJ, which is roughly inland from Sea Isle City. Tow miles from my house PATCo then 54 miles from Lindenwold to the forest, with a Wawa strategically located at mile 27. Saturday I will take a day ride to either the Cape May County Zoo or over to the Delaware Bay at East Point. Sunday I will reverse course and ride back to Lindenwold. Normally I would ride into Ocean City, grab breakfast and then head to A.C. to catch the train home, but the A.C. line has been out of service since the fall to install Positive Train Control. It was supposed to be back running already, but delays have pushed re-opening until just before Memorial Day.
I was considering French Creek, but as of this moment there are only two sites left in the entire place. I have camped there when it's full. Bit too much of a circus atmosphere for me.

Of course, that's not discounting what rjones said, btw. If it's threaded, no matter the adapter, I'd bet it's English.

The wheels have a stiff, but supple, ride and I had no difficulty negotiating the varying pavement conditions on a four mile commute through the suburbs, on streets broad and narrow. The bearings rolled in a way which can only be described as "silky smooth." They climbed (clumb) like a horny spider, sprinted like a cheetah for Cheetos, and I love the way they "spin up."
Actually, the effect of losing a pound off one's wheels (and a grand from one's wallet) is noticeable, but subtle. In summary, I can say they're Good Enough for Me and I need all the help I can get.

Also did a 1 lb. reduction swap too. That was obvious to me too. Not everyone can feel the change. Didn't see any cheetahs or spiders.

Been up and down Shed and Red Corner many times. They used to be on the original MS 150 PA Dutch, when French Creek was the lunch stop back in the early 90s. I go up PA 345 from Hopewell to Park Rd. then take that into the park. There is then a nasty climb up to the campground entrance. It's only about .35 miles to the check in booth, but it goes up 132'. After .1 miles you are facing grades between 6% and 8.5%, with much of that being at the higher end. If there is no traffic I often "deliver the mail." Once you get beyond the booth it keeps going up another .3 miles, but it's not as steep.

Also, just found out about WTB Exposure in 30mm. Slicks with tan sidewalls - oh yeahI! I'll have to dig up some reviews, but they look interesting.

Do you have experience with WTB in general? If so, how are they?

I'm reverting to 23s as well. All the way back from the 25s I've been running for the past 25 years.
In other news, I was looking in on the new power meter thread a few minutes ago. And realized that to actually get any use out of a power meter, one has to have the readout gizmo mounted on the handlebar. Another shot against a power meter for me. I like to ride with a clean cockpit.

I run 23F 25R. Works for me.
But that said, ideal width really depends on the bike and the rider and the conditions. We can all get along.
Maybe.
