eBay score!
NOS tubulars, and Campy bits: Victory Strada rims laced with DT spokes to a pair of shiny and minty Record hubs + skewers. They spin for miles despite front being overtightened a bit and rear having a minor hop (hoping no axle warp here...)
Seller was silent on shipping since winning, so I wasn't sure if I'd get the package or not.

Panniers for my in-progress C&V tourer (sorry, didn't know what was period-correct for 1982 ), modeled on another C&V bike they aren't actually going on!

This order broke my all time record ordering from Ribble.
THREE DAYS!
New Chorus goodies for my go-fast bike.
Bonus: the Look pedals they sent were the Team Edition, not just the plain-jane pedals I ordered. (I believe the only difference is the Teams have the mondrian graphics on the carbon leaf spring instead of plain black).

From @smontanaro, track bars and a Cinelli Giro D' Italia bar. More bars mean more bikes, right ?

Monday morning, first commute since Eroica followed by a week on travel...I swap back to my commuter wheels (Wolber Mod. 58s on Campagnolo Tipo/Gran Sport HF hubs ) and foolishly lodge the chain between the hub locknut and the dropout. A squeeze of the quick-release and an attempted spin of the wheel before I realize the mistake. I re-insert the wheel, now with the chain around the cog, and another tightening of the quick-release...POP. The darn locknut snapped in three! Ugh. My Eroica wheelset is mounted with expensive tubulars I'd rather not ride through the glass strewn streets of Oakland on my commute. I then learned that none of the thin locknuts from the spare Campanolo front hubs will thread onto the rear hub. To add further complication, the FW is, and has been, STUCK, so in order to tighten and properly adjust the locknut, I need to pull the whole axle, tighten the drive-side locknut in place and then do final adjustments on the non-drive side. I did that Monday night by robbing a locknut from another wheel (a Record hub, which uses a wider locknut and different spacers) to get me through the week. Which brings me to what came in the post for me today: a replacement NOS Tipo Gran Sport hub axle assembly from the friendly folks at Boulder Bicycle. I only needed the locknut, but it's nice knowing I've got some spare parts just in case.

Nice! Depends on how robust of a rim you need and if you're looking for polished or anodized. For period-correct anodized rims, Mavic MA40s have never let me down. A very durable, well-made rim with classic profile, though they will start to show some brake wear over time.

Shout out to Bike Flights for shipping this from Virginia to California in four days for 70.00. First touring Gitane I have seen. It will get the basic overhaul and if it rides well it will get the full fenders and rack treatment. Lots of toe and tire room with this frame.

Yours is a 7800, which had the traditional long cages. Mine is a 7700, which had a shorter cage but giant pulley wheels to wrap more chain.

Ahh I see...I learn something new everyday.
Are the 7700 DA rears easy to find or do you they pop up every full moon like the 7800 long cage?

A pair of new 118 BCD chain rings, 49 + 36 teeth. Together with my SR Apex cranks - basically an 118 BCD version of their Campagnolo Record copy - they'll make a great vintage compact:
A 110 BDC 36T Stronglight:
A pair of NOS Wolber Sport 25mm tires. I weighed them, and a little over 350 grams a piece doesn't seem bad for a thirty-five year old clincher:
