Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Indeed, it was definitely not the best example to put on the website.

Here's another in celeste that looks great, as well.(not mine) Colossi Mondial - Pedal Room

The good thing seeing that green Colossi is that now I'm lusting a little bit less after green Cinellis.

And it would save you about $1,400.

Chrome fork is standard, not the lugs. The base price includes any choice of one Pantone color for the frame. I added an extra bottle boss and internal brake cable, which was another $50. They also painted my fork black at no upcharge.

Finished building up an old Takara frame I got for free. Did a quick rattle can paint job, cleaned up the brake, cranks, and stem, pulled some other stuff out of the parts bin, and voila... cheap ass knock off Creamroller. Just took it on it's maiden beer run

Colossis are very nice frames & that distributor who opened up in NY is doing a great job with them, but...

No matter how much you might wish it to be so, and however much you spend on parts for one - it will still never be a Supercorsa

Having said that, I do hope you enjoy your Mondial Track very much...

Despite the threadless stem, that looks rather slick!

Also those tires are dope. Pricey, but dope.

He's Happy, I'm happier still.

As posted earlier, I picked up a Worksman trike for my adult son who is autistic. Enough parts came in to make it ridable. More work on it later, but here's an "Action Jackson" pic of his first ride (ever) around the block with a neighbor.

So awesome! Trikes are gaining popularity around Phoenix, mostly because you can carry so much stuff. We have one that carries an amp/speaker for our Monday night social ride.

For a minute there I thought this has to be some rare white Bianchi. Then I realized you probably live somewhere warmer and sunnier than I do.

Thanks for the kind words, folks!

Not much left to do except replace both chains, and cosmetics. Waiting on parts for that. The main drive chain measures 12 1/8"+ and makes hella noise when pedaling. Chainring and cogs look OK, though. Bearings are all done. Worksman was a faster parts supplier than the web shop from which I ordered the chain!

Oh, took it for a spin, myself....trikes feel goofy! Feel like I should have an athletic passenger who's hanging out over the inside turn radius like they do in motorcycle sidehack racing.

Thanks again, everyone

Yeah, that lighting is not doing the bike or pictures any favors.
