Word. Who cares? Does it really matter if your frame is a pound heavier than some others if your body fluctuates more than that over the course of a month? Those wheels look pretty cool. I'd love to try a pair.

It was really said in jest - it's been said already but I was more interested in decreasing my rotational weight so I can climb these mf'n hills better. Richard is slated to get more sets in April, just in time for Spring cruisin'.

Unless you have a very jerkey way of climbing, where you are constantly accelerating your wheels, rotational inertia will have very little impact. Basically, the only real factor when climbing is overall weight, which is mostly you.

Your cog is slipping.
You can only try them if your frame is within a weight range deemed acceptable by the Interweb Council. Before you consider new wheels, please weigh your frame and post a poll thread so we can vote.

Not sure what you mean by petit, I currently weigh about 130 to 135 lbs, but even so my wheel rims and tires represent less than 2 percent of the total bike + rider weight, which is pretty insignificant. So, if you are a lot heavier than me, then it should be even less significant for you. The reason I'm not jerkey when I climb out of the saddle is that I don't try to use a gear that is so large that I have to struggle to keep the cranks turning at least 50 rpm.

Here's my daily use fixie. Found this old Royce Union frame (year unknown, since there's not a lot of info about it), and built it from scratch. I know it's no the best frame in the world, like a Cinelli, State or Leader, but I proudly built it myself to my taste and drives smoothly like a brand new fixie. Here are the components I used:
-Cannondale C3 Bullhorn Aero bar.
-Cinelli black cork bartape.
-110mm carbon stem.
-KMC regular 1/8" chain.
-Sugino Pista 48T single speed crankset.
-Tioga SureFoot Slim pedals.
-45mm Deep V aluminum 700c fixie wheels (Projekt Fixie rear and Freedom front).
-700x28c Freedom ThickSlick rear tire.
-Fyxation 25.4mm Aluminum seatpost.
-Cinelli Crest saddle.
I used neon yellow paint, with a glow-in-the-dark clearcoat and a car clearcoat on top, so the frame glows in the dark. I actually based my work in the Pure Fix Kilo fixie. Hope you guys like it and thanks for watching.

Actually, considering that both State and Leader now sell some pretty nice high end stuff, and that Cinelli is now made in China, that statement is not all that unreasonable.
