Nothing special, but here is mine.
A tank of an old GT frame. Fixed gear drivetrain with looowww gearing. Studded tires and the cheapest fenders I could find.
It is very fun to ride.

This plus 700c studded tires should get me threw the snow?
Last year I rode my specialized hardrock threw the snow. WOuld 26'' or 700c studded tires be a better investment?

my Masi cross is what i'm going to use for winter. not going to do studded tires because it's for recreational winter riding only so i'm not forced to do trainer all winter. Pics are in my blog/cross forum.

I'm kind of curious about that myself. There seems to be two schools of thought on the subject: Fatter tires "float" over snow while thinner tires "cut" through snow. I'm going to try studded tires on my 700c bike this year. I wish I could afford two winter bikes; I've got an old Raleigh MTB that I'd love to mount studded tires to but my wife just can't understand why I need more than one bike in the first place. 
No way I could justify the expense of 2 sets of studded tires (because then I'd definitely need another bike for the spring thaw.)

Despite it's looks, Besik worked very well. 2.125 rims like on cruisers. 2.25 mud tires with 1/2 inch sheetmetal screws as studs. Good float, coulda been better though. Also it was a fixXxed gear and a blast to ride, best braking modulation ever. Front brake was more of a speed controller then a brake.

I was really hoping you are enjoying the fixed gear mtb (and that frame was a great find)... we are fortunate to live in a place where these bikes are not exceedingly hard to find as they build up so nicely into pretty much anything you want.
Drive side shots are always preferable too.

Nice wheels...
Come by the shop one day and we can touch up that frame and for anyone who is wondering it has had the dropout repaired.
This was an issue on some older Kuwaharas but the frames are of such good quality that repairs like this are well worth it... a friend had the same issue and had our local frame builder make the repairs and would not be surprised if the same person did these repairs.
The brazing is very nicely done.
Come by the shop one day and we can touch up that frame and for anyone who is wondering it has had the dropout repaired.

I'll likely come by EBC next week and get a membership and do some work. I'm still not sure if I should build some studded tires or just buy a set pre-made. That's kinda the next step after the touch-ups.

Some of these shots from yesterday's "race" are pretty good. Photography not by me, I'm just riding in numbers 17 and 36. Stud advocates will note the total lack of studded tires whatsoever.

It's really tough to discern whether the tires are studded or not, but I'll take your word for it. Cool pics nonetheless.
Studs excel in hard packed snow and ice conditions. That course looks to be fairly light snow and soft dirt. If this was a two day event on the same course and the surface layer of the snow had melted a bit during the heat of the day, then refrozen overnight leaving solid sheets of ice and packed snow on the course, I'd imagine a racer with studs would dominate on the second day of racing.

Yeah, it's true that in a race people go to the extra trouble of selecting best tires for that particular course at that particular time. It was cold and dry enough that no one saw any point in studded tires. On the same course on a different day it might be impossible to ride the course without studs and stay alive.

I know this was posted over a year ago - though if the original poster is still hanging around that would be awesome!
I also have a Fuji Sagres, but it is very much a road bike. How did you get those tires on it? Is there a Fuji Sagres mountain bike as well?
