I didn't find it, but last week I was riding home and saw some people intently staring at the ground. They'd found a pistol in the park, I'm glad it wasn't me that found it.

You played the lottery that night, right? Because that clearly was your lucky day!

Stainless steel pet food/water dish at a highway rest stop along the bike path.
I left it there since I had no way to carry something that large, and still had 20 miles left to ride.

I see tons of lug nuts, screwdrivers, and sockets. Common. Occasionally I find transmission bits/pieces, which is not just a little disturbing. Yesterday, however, I found a DT Swiss through-axle spindle. Sweet! It was off to the side of a busy road in a construction zone & had been run over a few times, but still - bike stuff! I picked that up and carried it home like a trophy, for whatever good that will do

Another 10mm! I know I've found at least one 10mm combo wrench, I think there might have been another as well.

Last night riding home, a whole bunch of change scattered at a major intersection. I had to wait around for a red light, so I picked up all the 'silver' coins. I netted $1.35 in very scratched up quarters, dimes, and nickels. I'm sure I left behind more than a dollar in pennies.

The other day I found a full sized machete. I strapped it to my rack and rode home very carefully.

Oh, and about a month ago I found half a dozen brand new usb-c chargers and cables. Like someone had driven down the road throwing them out the window. Oddly enough I had been thinking, just a few days before: "I really need a couple extra usb-c cables"

Probably they put them on the roof while unlocking their car outside the store where they bought them. I have found more than one brand new item in the gutter, at the first left turn coming from a Home Depot.

I keep collecting..... this is just what I have at work right now. The rest of my collection is already in my toolbox at home. Not sure why I have all this stuff - but I think it is fun. Most of it is junk. I forgot to add my long plastic snake here. It protects my tools from getting stolen from my desk.

Found the pipe wrench today!

Last night the husbeast and I found a peacock out for an evening stroll. Would have gotten a pic but he ran towards home when he saw us.

Yesterday it was dozens of straw bales in white plastic bags that said "Pike Peak International Hill Climb" on them.

Well today it was a Garmin HR strap, (second generation).
Coincidentally, this was also a rare day when I forgot to wear mine.
