The Hu - Mongolian rock band - pretty cool sound.
I play this on my hill climb route. Gets me motivated to get out of the saddle and grind the hill, especially the last song below with Jacoby Shaddix singing with them.

This is super dope... Thank you for introducing me to this!
Edit: This is giving me super Heilung vibes—which is likely an obvious response, but also something which further moves forward the message that we all are more alike in our innate rhythmic traditions than might be immediately apparent

I have had Sound of Silence stuck in my head all day...though I looked it up on the google tubes and instead of Simon and Garfunkel being the first hit, it was Disturbed...that made me disturbed. Not that I don't think their cover was good (I mean Paul Simon endorsed it and I do think it is good) but Simon and Garfunkel were just "other recordings of the song" along with two artists I have never heard of. Duh fuq is wrong with this world.
Sure they may have had their personal issues (and still do) but to have them relegated to second place is just wrong.
Anywho here they are at one of their reunion shows in Central Park:

Definitely interesting, definitely out of my wheelhouse, definitely something I'm gonna listen to several dozen times this week. Much obliged.
*edit: Ok yeah I really dig this. Their KEXP set is gold:
