My back tightened up again this week. Seems to happen every February.

And feel better CB. I had not as severe food poisoning last summer. It was not fun.

Nutella is on sale for $2.99 a jar. I am so happy. By the end of the day I will be crying chocolate tears.

I made crêpes for my girlfriend yesterday. Told her to grab stuff if she wanted a filling I don't have. She brought me a huge jar of Nutella. I have such mixed emotions on this, since I'm currently significantly over race weight.

IIRC, the first ingredient on Nutella's content is sugar. Makes it good for ride food, less good for other stuff. Then again, with TKP's training load he could probably go through a jar every other day and not notice it.

Is that a week? 22 hours in a week? And you work full-time? I'd like to get that much time on the bike, I could smoke some of the other geezers then.

It's the training week that ended yesterday and is pretty standard at this point. Basically, I sat down and figured out what would let me train the way I wanted to and put together a long term plan to do it. I work part time freelance so I get to decide my own hours basically. It took like 4 years to get to a place that allows me to do this.

There's a guy on our team who has his life configured a lot like you KP, guy's a beast. Just got 3rd overall at VoS, cat2. He has a 370w 20min and weights 140lbs. Totally bonkers.

I asked my boss about going part-time as soon as I am eligible for social security (April). He is okay with it but certain things have to fall into place, like hiring someone to replace me who isn't too hungry to share work.
My landlady told me a couple weeks back she is selling the house I live in, so there's another reason to stay full-time until that is resolved.

Don't suppose she'd sell to you for an affordable deal?

I hate that I spent $150 on a mediocre meal (she bought drinks), but the lady is worth it and we had a good time.

Ugh. I wish. That would have been awesome. I still NEED to go see it.

I think it's stupid because it's a hallmark holiday which commercializes and capitalizes on something that's supposed to be authentic and you're basically expected to go through this stupid ritual because that's what society expects of you. I hate the showy-ness of it. I mean I get that a lot of things are like this, but I think this one especially irks me.

I don't hate it for the singles awareness reasons blah blah blah.

I took my wife out to see it on Friday night. It was quite entertaining. And I think it was the first time in many years that we have done something for Valentine's Day.

Doubtful, even though I have been here for 15+ years. Her brother (a friend from my teens) used to own it and he promised to sell it to me at a deal as soon as he retired. Unfortunately he drank himself to death and she inherited his properties.
When I told her about that promise she said "no way", but who knows? She might come through yet.

So do what I did and find yourself a lady who feels the same way. Valentines Day magically ceases to be a problem. In fact, it might as well not exist.

Though we are gonna take advantage of half-off candy today, cause we're romantic that way.

I want to see whatever the new Star Wars is called. It's amazing how few spoilers there are out there, to the point that I haven't seen any.

And don't respond with spoilers please
