It's clearly a full-time business for this guy. Just updating all those ads, which someone does almost every day, would take hours. Maybe I'll go visit him one day just for the fun of it. He does have an interesting bike for sale every once in a while--never at a very good price, but whatever.

Now back to the fun:

Bicycle - $300 (Fresno)

https://fresno.craigslist.org/bik/d/fresno-bicycle/7209361649.html

I've heard of Covid pricing, but this is ridiculous. And if this person is a member here, shame on you! They were probably laughing so hard, and that's why they couldn't keep the bike in the frame.

Maybe they had like 8 flats in a row, like I did the other day. That'll make me throw down pretty much any bike, by the time I finally get home.

Seller needs to be smacked. Nice enough bike that would probably appeal to someone but four nearly identical photos from the same distance of the NDS are a waste.

I asked about a Sugino seatpost on offerup that turned out to be a 26.6 instead of 27.0.

Seller said it fits and i can clamp it down. Apparently to him .4mm isn't a big difference.

Tries also to sell me a 27.2 and tells me it fits perfectly.

I'm too ignorant to know that that's a rare bike. Here's a better picture, though. It would indeed be a great find if you were that tall and wanted a vintage Centurion.

Does the steampunk crowd ever once think, "man, it sure would be nice to not deal with the glare from all of these naked light bulbs?" I'm sure you could make a steampunk lampshade.

Don't worry! It was a question made for humor, and a bit of reality as that is the size frameset I ride. I didn't know Centurion made a frame that big until I looked hard at all their available catalogs (and other large manufacturers') and wrote them all down for future reference. After you posted the picture of all those ads (thank you!) I went to NY's CL and looked it up. Handsome frame, just needs larger (tan wall) tires and a saddle & stem height adjustment and that thing will look stunning!

I helped a friend sell over 200 bikes this summer. I personally sold around 60 on Facebook. He still has over 100 "keepers" and enough frames and parts to build another 100 bikes.
