Does anyone mount a mirror on their bike to see behind them?

I use this Sunlite cruiser mirror on my swept bar. The mount it comes with is a piece of garbage; mild steel with sharp edges, so I found a handlebar-mounted reflector clamp, and it works great.

I have a pair of spy glasses with the mirror built into the lens. It’s perfect to watch people and they don’t even know you are. I only use for cycling
when I’m spying on people I ise a newspaper with two holes in it

Of course I use a rear view mirror, and I think everyone should use one for their safety.
When I hear a car coming from behind, I watch him in my mirror. My main concern is a fool on their cell phone. I watch to see that they are going to give me passing room. If not, I will be riding into the ditch.!!!!!

Definitely on a recumbent as you can't rotate as far left and right sittin gin a "lawn chair".
I use a helmet mounted mirror and one on the trike. Every bit of info is helpful when making decisions in traffic.

I guess reading 7 pages before posting is too much to ask.
