Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Both, it should be a new requirement that we post our builds with pets of some sort for scale

Now that I've seen your Lynsky, I'm thinking about a Easton EC90 fork for a new Merlin Build. I was restricted to a Reynolds Ouzo Pro 'cause of a 1" tube, but the Merlin's got a 1-1/8"

How do you like the EC90 fork?

Go to the dentist and get a titanium post. If you've got nothing titanium, do what I did in my last post, and post your dream ti. Not that I would ever spend $164,800 for a motorbike...

Thanks... it was last August... 9 screws and a plate and I was back on the bike in 2.5 months believe it or not (although it wasn't easy). Still have minor issues with it (nerve & range of motion) but it's getting better.

Ti sure is some great stuff !

I like it, its light, comfy, and tracks well. That said its not the stiffest fork as its an SLX not the SL. If your looking for a bit more lateral stiffness, I'd go with the SL for a few grams more.

Man, those IF bikes are hot. Nice large diam tubing. What are the tube diameters on these IF Crown Jewels?

Yeah, but with a $100k premium over the base model, you have to wonder if it's worth it.

I am sad to be leaving this thread, but love my new frame a lot. Selling my beautiful Merlin Agilis on ebay for those interested, while building up my new Cervelo tomorrow!

Oooh good suggestions, Brian but what I meant was, the bike I ordered will be coming in mid June. I want to learn how to be OCP and be in the Ti Division!

Nice 'bent. If I were going to cross over (or bend over ), that might be the one. Here is an updated shot on mine with tubs and Lews.
