What would you replace on my bike?

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Well my bikes went from being hot to now their cool bikes. Generational thing! Anyway I think the ice age is coming back because we haven't exceeded 75 degrees yet this year, the local weather people here are saying that so far it's the second coolest spring on record.

I feel sorry for the people in MN, it's probably still snowing on them.

AZ hasn't been too bad, it's hitting the triple digits already but nothing too crazy. And this week it's supposed to drop back down to the low 90's.

I have a feeling the ice age is going to return with new glaciers creeping southward starting within the next year. There's just something odd about how the sky looks...

Lots of potential on that!

Black saddle or white bartape
Different bars but if you do keep those I'd rotate the bars down a little bit to bring the bar ends up a little then slide the hoods up a little to keep them in the same location.

are those ritchey ergo bars? If you like ritchey you can go with the ritchey superlogic which is still ergo but not as much and more shallow of a drop. Otherwise, the thomson carbon bars would be a good choice. I like the zipp contour SL bars a lot as well. What saddle is on there currently?

It's stock ritchey bars... Most probably it's ritchey comp..
Wats the difference Btw ergo n non ergo? I'm trying to keep the bars, seat post n stem to ritchey... Had changed out the stem to a longer 100mm ritchey wcs for netter reach. I'm really not flexible... Unable to touch my toes when bending forward...

The saddle currently is tioga spyder twintail wich I'm very comfortable with.. Have ordered a black one

Ergo bars have a slight straight/flat section in the bend going down to the drops. Your bars have a deep drop and large ergo bend. If you like the ergo, look into the ritchey evolution pro, superlogic or superlogic II.

I'll start as mine is definitely not ready for hot or not.

This is my first road bike in over 15 years (after not riding in just as long of time). In time the whole bike will be replaced, but for now, I want to waste my money on upgrades.

2012 Fuji Altamira 2.0

I didn't read all of the other posts but I like the bike the way it is. If I had to pick things to change, I'd start with the brakes or brake pads. Wheels are always an option. The Regal saddle is the best there is. Ride it till ship falls off.

Wife's work in progress. Her first road bike so "flip it and slam it" isn't happening for a while. The seat height is actually set for me until after the first ride. I think hers is 2-3" lower. Gonna be white sadde/white tape. Bike weighs 17lbs 11oz as it sits right now.
