I will say it's a good looking bike. Not worth $1,200 at all. And it's not a track bike, it's a road bike converted to a single/fixie. There is a difference, oh fellows of Craigslist.

This is a photo from an old ebay auction. Does 600 dollars seem right??? I would not wire money face to face only. there is a thread on this ad on another forum !!!!

I see stuff like this all the time in Bay Area's craigslist bike ads. It's funny the first few times, but I'm sort of numb to it nowadays. A lot of times, these CL ads are posted for years on end. These sellers must like to waste time and click on the repost button like trained monkeys.

Ever notice that these overpriced fixies appear unridden? I just don't get turning vintage road bikes into something they were never intended to be.

Billy Bob: "Hey Bubba, I just got a nice '74 Ferarri!"
Bubba: "Sweet, let's rip the transmission out and run it direct drive!"

WTF?!

These over built FG/SS on semi junk frames always bug me as a bike guy. For what this guy spent to make one soso FG/SS conversion I could make a 4 or 5 really nice FG/SS conversions. At the end of the day even with the Campy stuff this one maxes out around $300. Just because someone spent a tone of stupid money on FG/SS doesn't mean it worth a lot.
