I can see that, but maybe we should take one of them out for every time they harm someone.

Do any of the platforms do this, have a family plan? Her bike is going on the trainer today, so if she is the only one with account it’s fine.
Im assuming if I want to use the wahoo kickr core, I can throw my bike on there and not use any platform to ride?

Personally, I did not care for the the way Rouvy interacted with my trainer, but it's not bad.
Correct. You do not need any additional software to just throw a bike on and pedal. It should be have like a dumb trainer with a set slope. The faster the rear wheel spins, the more resistance you'll feel. However, if you want to change resistance, you'll need some kind of tool to connect to to the trainer. I think the Wahoo trainer app will do this. Or you might be able to set a trainer resistance in watts (or slope) from a head unit like a Garmin that has trainer control.

Cool thanks! I’ll let her decide what she wants to use. She’s not a gamer so I don’t know if she will like the video game features of zwift.

Several years ago a deer took down a friend's wife in a similar way to that video. She recovered from the crash but it was the last time she ever rode with us.

Notice how I did not go with pink bottle cages.
Ride went great! I don’t know how to describe it, but pedaling just feel so much easier on this bike compared to my other 2. Shifting is smooth and fast, she’s really stable, brakes work excellent. She’s lighter than my cervelo which I found to be surprising.
Have to run it to the bike shop this afternoon. Both feet fell asleep at mile 20. which is about 30 mins earlier than what I’m used to. Was hoping the new shoes and position would resolve the issue completly. I’ll have him re take a look. Might need to shift the cleats a little bit.
Also got some chain front derailer rub on the big chain ring when I’m in the Ricky Bobby gear.
And switch from small chain ring to big chain ring the shift worked about 50 percent of the time. Derailer moved chain didn’t want to. This might be user error but I still have them take a look.
These bontrager lights are really really nice. Bright, and they feel secure when in their mount. My micro night rider has play in it and has fallen off while riding.
Power meter I’ll get going today once I pick up my 530.

They are, however, very tasty. It would be great if more people hunted them, since they evolved for a situation in which predation is one of the if not THE leading cause of death. I.e. they depend on other species for their population control, and having depleted wolves, it's up to us to take up the slack.

But if you can just spin in the basement for the length of a typical ride with no distractions, you're a better man than I am, Gunga Din.

Last night I did a second shakedown cruise on Deadman, with the saddle raised a bit. That was what it needed. Just 0.5cm, and the pedaling went from "almost right" to "just right". I don't know whether it's the 172.5 cranks or the Biopace chainrings, but this baby encourages spinning! The 24t largest cog is a bit of a bummer, however, especially paired with the 42t small ring. It's got a 13-24 6 speed freewheel, and I have 22 and 26t cogs to replace the 21 and 24t ones, but when I tried to unscrew the small cog from the freewheel, no dice. Maybe if I had two cheater pipes and a couple friends....
It got dark and cold WAY sooner than I expected. The sun was already below the ridgeline to the West when I got back to the car at 6:10 PM! And then when I got home, we were having a power outage. Very limited outage - just one long block of our street, both sides. Power everywhere else, though, so we could see the lights on in the houses across the creek behind the house. We joked about sending The Boys, with a string of extension cords - "Hi! I'm your neighbor. Can I borrow a cup of electricity?"
