New to me, 2010 Specialized Tricross Comp in immaculate condition. I made an even swap with the "seller" for my 2012 Cannondale Synapse 5. I wanted a softer, more comfortable ride at age 62. Both bikes were specc'ed the same except the brakes which are tektro .I I v on this bike. The seller is a mechanic and we test rode each other's bike together and made the swap afterwards. I am very happy with it.

I guess I can catch this up with some of the past couple of years pickups. These are the "modern ones" by my standards.
Trek 5200 with a triple 9 speed setup.
C4 Air One, Campagnolo 8 speed.
CAAD 8 Optimo, my one bike under 16 lbs.
Calfee Tetro Pro with Campagnolo 10 speed. Still trying to come to terms with this one.
Fauto Coppi Neuron Mega T. A new favorite, fast, comfortable and the most uniquely shaped tubeset of all my bikes.
One of two David Kirk built Fishlips bikes. Daytona equipped.
David Kirk Terraplane with a nice Campagnolo build

I'm between a 49cm and 52cm for most frames, but the Aethos at 49cm looks very compact compared to other 49cm frames. Can you fit a larger water bottle on the seat tube or just a standard size bottle?

I think you can just squeeze one in but I never ride with the full size bottle on the seat tube just incase the the bottle popped out and hit the top tube. IMO 49cm was the the right size for me even with the suggested 80mm stem.

Picked up my N+1 last week that arrived a few months earlier than the ETA. It's a 2023 Giant Propel (Advanced Pro 0 - SRAM Force). A little heavier than my other race bike (TCR Pro 0 - Ultegra DI2), but more stable at higher speed for sure. The new design is awesome. No sacrifice in terms of comfort - really satisfied with the bike, although I would have stayed with shimano (DI2 version not available here in Canada for some reason...)
Phone camera is broken so I took a picture with the selfie cam. Looking forward to taking a few nice ones up in the mountains.
Edit : For the weight weenies, the bike weighs 7.9kg with the aero bottle cages and the computer mount (pedals, computer and numen taillight excluded)

Glad to read, and thanks! I was hoping it would come with the new Force groupset, but I guess Giant has to exhaust their components inventory first. I am expecting 2nd gen Force to come on bikes manufactured in late 2023 and going forward.
Did 4-5 rides so far and I definitively prefer Shimano over SRAM. I don't dislike it, I just prefer DI2. Shifts are much faster and ''crispier''. I like the SRAM app better though.

Are you referring to my 1x frame? If so, I was influenced by riding with some strong fixed gear cyclists. There's more emphasis on cadence control and out of saddle to generate more torque. Though I wanted a geared bike setup for more versatility since I do mostly climbing and descents. At the time I had converted my gravel bike to 1x and I found I liked the simplicity of the drivetrain. I bought this aero frameset on clearance on AliEx. In a lot of ways it's probably my most fun bike to ride. The aero frame is stiff, it accelerates fast and I can really lay down the torque when out of saddle. Also I kept the gearing modest at 44t 11-32t, because I found I could ride most terrain at this setup, even 22% grade inclines.
