Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

That still makes no sense. "You're bike is hot, but I dont want to say its hot because its TOO hot and someone might get the wrong idea if someone knows I think its as hot as it is."

Cheese and rice people, either its hot or it isn't. if you think its hot then say hot. If it doesn't appeal to you, then so be it I guess. Just mind blowing to see what some will let pass by as a hot and yet when a generally across the board hot bike comes through, those same people will pick on the dumbest things. (Not speaking about just my bike here. Seen it happen time and time again) BUT, all good. I know everyone has their own flavor pallet. Just a shame some of ya'll prefer Frozen dinners to 5 star restaurants.

Hot, but I would like to know if there is even a headset dust cover under the stem. And, as usual, I'm not a gumwall fan.

#yes on all counts

#boourns to the naysayers on the stem. this current set up that maintains horizontality is better than pointing it to the ground... or propping it on spacers... or whatever wild ideas they concocted

Neither the top tube nor stem are horizontal.

That saddle looks a fair bit higher than on the other pictures of the same bike (for example here). You didn't pull a 2ndGen on us, did you?

I'm changing my answer to Hot.

To make it hotter...(other than the stem thing)
Get rid of some cables (you mentioned eTap).
Get rid of cable adjusters/move them.
Reduce amount of cable in places like the RD (eTap/Di2 fixes that).
Maybe 90% will disagree with me, but I like metal anodized alloy housing and color's cables like PowerCordz for accent (and they work well). In the close-up it looks like you did that. In the staged, it looks like the shifters are plastic covered housing.
I know it costs more, sorry - Enve Stem/bars to match wheels.

No I've been playing around with my fit. Not sure I will keep this height, but felt as if I was too low before. My daughters softball schedule has taken over my weekends and ability to ride as much as I'd like. Sent some time on he rollers and it felt pretty good, but need to get it out on the road still to see how it feels in real life riding.

I hate the enve stem and dislike the bars. The stem looks like a dog bone to me, even though it would match the wheels. Black ilink cable housing for brake lines. Shifting was pretty sub par so I took those back to shimano housing. Yes, the Etap would clean up the cables a bit as well.

Cheese and rice?!
Cheese and rice, some people don't know how to take a compliment! I say you have a great big natural pearl and you complain because I won't say it sparkles like a rhinestone. Smh...

Sorry. I should divided up my comments. I didn't understand the whole mom reference but the rest of my response (everything after cheese and rice) was in general and as I said not specific to just my bike.

I guess I should have done a better job clarifying that.

Those are inline skate wheels with CERAMIC bearings. No front wheel = uber slippery through the air. Planning on taking it for a ride on some gravel roads this weekend.
