1987 Schwinn Paramount 58 cm - $800 (san jose west)

https://sfbay.craigslist.org/sby/bik/1866916595.html

This is a classic Schwinn Paramount made in Waterford Wisconsin. It is steel and has all Campy components. It is in beautiful condition. These bikes were measured a little differently than modern bikes, it fits more like a modern 56 cm bike. I am 6 feet tall and it fits me well. I think it would fit a person from about 5-8 to 6 feet. Right now it has speedplay pedals on it, but I still have the original Campy pedal clips. This bike rides really well, it feels especially stable on the downhills, more stable than my other bikes. The downtube shifters work well but take a little getting used to. I am selling it because I have too many bikes.

FWIW I took a quick look at that A-D mixte the other day when I was, um, shopping for a friend. It did look very nice, and it's a big 21" frame. It's Reynolds but not 531, 501 maybe? Front badge is definitely PUCH. If I didn't already have a 21" mixte in the family stable I'd be interested in this one.

This Zebra Kenko GS was part of the Japanese invasion of the late 70's early 80's. 27" quick release wheels.10 speed Suntour .Fairly light high tension steel frame and alloy components.no kick stand. This would make a nice vintage first racer. The frame is fairly short.needs tires, tubes, and a thorough cleaning.A very unique old ten speed.Pickup can be made in Williams Bay or Waukesha. Please see my other bikes for sale! email with additional questions. Thanks!

56 cm, 22" center to top, 31.25" standover height. Good for anyone up to 5'11" I figure. Road bike in fantastic shape. Paint two-tone with a purple smoke/marble pattern and pearl white in good shape with a few minor chips. Frame is Tange #1 seemless double-butted CrMo. Shifters, brakes, cranks, rims are Shimano 600, work smoothly, effortlessly. Biopace chainrings. Made in Japan. Email w/ questions. Thanks.

Thanks Jet.

This fellow has at least three, maybe even four bikes, that I would ask out on a date.

I've managed to stay out of the way of two De Rosas lately.

Let's see if I can pass on this one as well......

Terry women's 12 speed Sport Bicycle - $350

Date: 2010-07-28, 10:56PM EDT
Reply to: sale-gfme2-1869049436@craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?]

Women cyclists wonder why bicycle companies don't know
that the average American is 5' 4" tall. Well here is
something from a company that does know that.

For sale a Georgena Terry women's 12 speed sport bicycle,
Despatch model circa 1988, small adult size, 19 inch frame
29 inch standover height. This is a light weight, double butted,
lugged and braised steel frame road racing bike --
made in Japan using high quality components. It is a diamond frame,
which is usually called a men's bicycle, but Georgena changed the
proportions and angles to better fit women. They use the odd
combination of a 700c size rear wheel and a 24 inch front wheel
(25-520 tire size) so you can pedal while turning without hitting
the front wheel.

Check out the company web pages at https://www.terrybicycles.com/
and https://forums.terrybicycles.com/index.php
Their local dealer is https://www.sheldonbrown.com/harris/terry/index.html

These are very desirable collectors items and will go wherever you
can go with skinny tires. Its just what you'd like for 50 or 100 mile
a day trips. It's condition is very good except for a few small ugly
rust spots. Unfortunately it does not have a Terry saddle and it would
be better if it had new tires.

Price $350. Location: North Cambridge, MA No, I will not ship it.

Terry is known for the small front wheel. Pretty obvious that the fork is made for a 650 wheel. The links in the ad look like they will be pretty helpful

EDIT: Oops, 24 inch wheel. And you should check out what a new Terry costs!

Vintage 1964? Carlton Franco Suisse Road Bike Frame - Chrome 59cm

https://chicago.craigslist.org/chc/bik/1868373971.html
Vintage 1964? Carlton Franco Suisse Road Bike Frame - Chrome 59cm ..... Best Offer

I hate to sell this, but, times are hard. I am offering just the frame, but if you need parts to build it, I'm sure I've got you covered. As for a fork, I have not been able to come up with one. I have two that fit, one is a Carbon Fiber Profile Straight Blade, the other is a chrome fork with the smaller size 22.0 required stem size. I did not feel either one was appropriate, but that's my opinion.

I really don't know a lot about the bike, research doesn't tell me a lot. What you have is basically a beautiful chrome, Made in England, Reynolds 531 Tubing Frame with Nervex Lugs. Here is a link the same bike but they do not list the year. https://www.flickr.com/photos/onetwen...7603546319387/

Size is 59cm Center to Center Seat tube, 58cm Center to Center Top Tube.

I'm looking for best offer by Friday 7/30/10 at Noon. Money must be in my hands by 6pm that day or it goes to the next person. I also am listing it on sqeezebay so act fast because I am taking offers and a buy it now there.

Serious Buyers Only Please. CALL 773 507 5796

Excellent condition, no rust 1963 blue Raleigh Sports for sale. 60's Raleighs in this color and condition with original Brooks saddle are hard to come by. Still has plastic protector pieces on it from the factory. Some scratches that are characteristic to a 47 year old bike. This bike's ready to ride away - everything works perfectly. Feel free to email with questions.

this is a beautiful Bianchi but as I am sure you all can tell it is not Corse Record but rather Croce de Anue and the model year is actually an '89. '88s were SL with Corse Record and Cobaltos still a beautiful bike.

OY! I just found a note in the catalog. it looks like I could have had one of these for $850 employee cost!

One of the most beautiful bikes I have ever seen.

1988 Italian-made Bianchi Mondiale

Perfect shape aesthetically and functionally, ready to ride!

Columbus SLX superbutted Chromoly frame and fork.

FULL original Campagnolo C-Record group with Delta brakes:
C-Record group includes: Hubs and skewers, Front and rear Derailuers, shifters, Headset, Crankset, pedals, toe clips and straps, seatpost, brake levers and hoods.

Campagnolo Omega rims
Selle Italia Turbo celeste Bianchi saddle
Bianchi branded frame pump
Pantographed fork
Italian ITM stem and bars

Size: seat tube c - c: 58cm. Aprox. 32 1/4in standover.

You could easily part out this bike and make money. However, I don't have the heart to do this, I at least want to believe it will be ridden complete....

Please leave your phone # and I'll call you back.

Cheers!
