This is certainly pretty, but it's too . . . extravagant?

A bike's appeal is made exponentially greater when I know it's actually ridden, but maybe that's just me.

I think it's the fork and stays that push it over the limit. I think that if the whole bike were blue, the ICS grouppo would have a much better effect overall.

I'm sure whether it's the actual bid for $50,000 ~reserve not met or the bikes in the auction that made my jaw drop.

This one from the auction belongs in jackass through imo:

You don't think you could get at least $1000 dollars each for those bikes piecing out the collection? If you had the cash it would be easy money.

whoa.

but seriously, its 50,000 for 70 bikes??? is that the deal? and he only posts like 7 of the bikes??
then its local pickup only, in florida....you would need a semi truck.

ill be watching the auction, just to see if it sells or not. i wonder what the other 60+ bikes are.

Presumably anybody that bids on them will actually get details of the whole collection before doing so.

lol well i would hope so before placing a 50,000 bid, but i would think a dude trying to sell some ridiculous collection of 70 bikes would post ALLOT more info on the auction page than like, 2 sentences.
ive seen more in depth details/descriptions on auctions for binder bolts.

Probably some old guy who doesn't give 2 flying f's about the internet. I bought a great guitar for cheap from a similar ad on cragislist posted by an elderly guy.

There's probably a Cinelli Laser in the bunch that he doesn't care about. "Oh, that piece of crap?!" hahaha.

But, yeah, he should post more info.

Bet the word is out in the collector's community and that guy just has the auction as a place for people to bid after checking it out in person. See it quite often.

The hate that Superb and a few other brands get on this forum is ridiculous. People were even calling my Rush near porn worthy on here. I know it doesn't even hold a candle to the build below. A nice bike is still a nice bike even if you hate the brand.

I just shat a brick.

OR possibly the only nice ones are pictured and all the others are a lifetime supply of thruster fixies.

~As for the superb; as a cdale track owner, I would honestly buy one or two as beaters if they removed the decals and halved the price; the geo's pretty sweet if it's a replica of cdale's imho.
