Just as I kind of figured .... No ride for Sat ... But had a really nice day with friends over for a BBQ b.day get together thing.... As of now I have one friend that says he will ride tomorrow.... We shall see...

No ride today...I know that I will regret it later today but I need a rest day. I plan to ride tomorrow with at least one if not two friends. Should do about 35 - 40 miles.

I tried to ride yesterday. AAAAAAAAGGGGGHHHH THE POLLEN CLOGS MY CONTACTS AND FEELS LIKE ROCKS IN MY EYES
Had to stop twice to pull, clean , and reinsert.
No ride today, or for probably about 2 weeks if it's like the previous few springs.
My wife thinks I should buy some glasses. Do I really want a pair of bi/trifocals?

Well yesterday I had to fix 2 flats my MTB, the one my friend rides when we go riding. Seems our ride in the forest a few days ago was through a bunch of stickers. Pulled all of the pieces of thorns out of the tires got the tubes patched. Started loading the bikes on the rack and was going to check the back spokes on the bike because the other day I thought I heard a creaking noise. Sure enough there was a creaking, because one of the back spokes was busted. Anyway no ride yesterday. Off to the bike shop today to get the spoke fixed & maybe a tune up on the bike. I think I'm going to test ride a 29'er. Something with just front suspension instead of the full suspension bike I ride now. I realize now that the kind of riding I do I really do NOT need a full suspension bike. Its a great bike.... but kind of overkill. Sell it help buy a new one...... Maybe....

I haven't ridden since I got back from WARM and SUNNY Florida last Wednesday (3/23). Its been too cool or raining. Looks like this week is out too. Rain every day till next Saturday.

Didn't ride Friday. Rained pretty much all day Saturday. Did get all my tarped burn piles burned. Got in 20 on Sunday. Thunderstorm this morning. See about tomorrow. One weather guesser site says rain for the afternoon the other says clear.

I had plans to ride today and it would have been a perfect day, not a cloud in the sky. I had everything laid out and ready to go. I woke up about 3 AM for some reason and could not go back to sleep so now I am tired and grouchy. The only good thing is I didn't ride on April 1 last year so I will not lose any miles.

I guess I got spoiled when I was in Florida a few weeks ago. Its cooler here than it was there (sunny and 85 each day ) and I just haven't been able to motivate myself to get out and ride. Today was low 50s, cloudy and windy. 
Tomorrow looks better -- low 70s.

No ride yesterday or today. Way too windy. No ride tomorrow. We're meeting friends for lunch. Lunch with them usually starts around 11:00 and ends around 3:30 or 4:00.

I have be neglectful in posting here... I've skipped quite a few group rides recently. Mostly, because i put in 75-100 miles a week commuting, so I just don't feel like riding on Saturdays!

Well no ride Sunday.... Just too much stuff going on to get out and ride... NOT a very good excuse.... but its the only one I have.

Didn't ride today 1) Busy day and had lots of stuff to do... 2) My legs have felt like led the last couple of rides, figured I would not ride today and see how it goes tomorrow (when I ride).
