That must be the famous Canadian Boot Totem we keep hearing about. 😁
I'd love to try riding a tunnel like that. 😎

Nice arch within an arch
I like the people shots you and str are taking. I am a bit too introverted to shoot strangers as I'd be afraid they'd say " hey, what are you doing that for!"

Somewhere on the Selkirk Loop in Canada. Why? I'm not sure. I guess I wanted to give back something to the woman that did not want her face in the picture. I often send copies of the pictures to the people who allow me to photograph them.

Was that in Zeeland?
I had a lady in her 90's on an APT bike today (active/passive trainer), sort of a stationary e bike for rehab, and ran a youtube slide show of Holland scenes for her on the TV we have mounted on the wall. She could describe almost every picture to me even though she had not been there since she was a young woman. She kept saying it is a nice place to visit sure but she would not want to live there because there was water everywhere - even right up close to the houses

No, it is north east of Amsterdam. It is where the N302 Highway separates 2 of the man made lakes reclaimed from the sea. We did ride through the Zeeland area earlier in the ride. It is in the southwest corner of the country.
I have also heard similar comments. An owner of a small cafe told us "it is always about the Dutch and the water." As sea levels rise, it will be a tougher challenge to keep the water in those areas below sea level pumped out. A lot of the country is dependent on their pumping stations to maintain the balance between the land and the water.
Let us know how your canvas photo project turns out. I enjoyed the slide show you posted in another thread.

Happy Feet - I love the picture of the bike in the tunnel (Kettle Valley Railway - Myra Canyon Section.). Great shot.
