Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Same here, but I had a short relapse in my mid-thirties, when I was not working for a while.

I did a few times in Boulder (of course); it never appealed. CBD seems to help the anxiety. I wish I'd have the opportunity to try psilocybin or DMT, but I don't think that's going to happen.

I'm going to head out soon to spin out some of yesterday, but I don't think I'll be doing 35. We'll see though.

That's also assuming WhyFi doesn't do more than 15 today.

Or Trsnrtr riding at all

I reckon I have to settle for silver.

Today’s ride was perfect. Good weather, good pace, beautiful Lancaster County.

Not sure what you expected out of 200 miles. That'd usually be off the podium. Glad you had a good ride though. We might actually cool off soon.

Sorry, that came off snottier than I meant in hindsight. I didn't expect to even be on the podium this week, but here it is.

It’s ok. I’m not bothered by a bit of snark.

That's good. But, I wasn't even meaning to, and that's something I've been struggling to change. Its even harder in person, when my mouth runs off before I even realize.

It's lovely in the summer. Very bumpy, but reasonably okay with 32mm+ tires..

Once fall comes around it becomes covered in leaves and if there's any rain it gets quite slippery.

In the winter it likes to get really icy, and there's no real maintenance to clear things out, so I never ride on it. Maybe this year I'll try some studded tires.

I have a whopping 20 miles this week. Too much crap going on and too much stress with my closing getting moved then doing everything we can to make sure it happens tomorrow
