I've been trying not to buy too much lately but I did decide to treat myself to some new 4mm Allens, I can never seem to find one, and a couple of new jerseys from Online Cycling Gear. They seems pretty nice. The full zipper is new for me but I like it already.
A little something extra on this one.

Along with the red jewels on the Mono's, very classy!

Just got in some spacers and single speed freewheel to convert my '85 Univega to a SS. Going to try a 48t x 16t set up. Time to start redishing!

Cheers to the sly Fox! I toast the arrival of two nice vintage crown bells from Thunderbay. A little cleaning and lube will make them sound loud and proud.
It was in my post when I got home from lunch but had no time then to open the small box. Carried it around in my messenger bag rest of day with all the deliveries till I got home.
Cheers!

Some Campagnolo socks
And for riding my recent green Reynolds 753 Merckx purchase, I got this...
The Merckx has old school pedals with clips and straps, so instead of my usual SPD-SL's I needed some old school cycling shoes, and so I got these lovely pair of lovely GG Duegi leather shoes.
And I don't even own a Reynolds 531 bike, and have actually never owned one, but that did not stop me buying this, guess I'll have to buy a 531 bike to match it now

That hasn't happened to me much, though it just did. I have one of those cheap Chinese jerseys, and it's OK, certainly good for $20. It fits. One of those companies asked me to try their shorts and offered a refund if I reviewed it. The shorts were so tight they hurt. I told the guy. He said I should try buying another pair. I said no, not after this. So he issued me a refund. And they fit my wife, so there you go.

Fall is coming - for me that frequently means handlebar re-wrap time. With maybe a slight relocation of the brake hoods, or even a new handlebar. But anyway, that always means a selection of colors for the vintage rides. And there's no better selection than Newbaum's.
And some little levers, for round 3 of a mixte'd-up

I got a strange one. I ordered a Campy NR rear brake just to pull the 2 identical brake pad holders off of (plus to have as a spare part) They matched the pair if identical (but opposite side) brake pad holders I already had. Installed them on my 75 Colnago Super.

Yesterday and today were good post office days. A set of 4 Kool Stop brake blocks for my Campy brakes calipers. And today three qr skewers for my record hubs.
Sorry but no pics I'm on a back-up computer. Smiles, MH

I think this is my last post before I can add pics...
Today I got a 13t cog for the coaster brake on my $100 clunker challenge bike. 44:13 gearing with 20" wheels. I thought it would be a reasonable gear, however 18 mph is a little less fun than expected on an old ratty folding bike, lol.

Long high mileage day delivering at a good pace found me home and taking these out of the post box! Nice end to my day. Another piece to my eventual Nalshima build. Got a few more to show and another big one coming.
Thanks to Andrew AeroGut
All cleaned and lubed. Really didn’t take much!
