@RobbieTunes if fleslider restores it to racing specs he'll have to put some one piece tri bars on it.
Centurion didn't do much in privateering that I know of. They did give away bikes to pro's, not only the racing bikes, but complimentary bikes, too. Those comp bikes were all OEM, though. I restored one given to a woman on their racing team, traded it to a girl for her first road bike. She now rides for Trek.

I think what really interests me is how the sponsored bikes do not share common forks. Do you think the reason was rider preference or product testing?
On a sidenote, my 90 Team Miyata(which was only offered as a frame in 1990) also has the Shimano decals at various places on the frame.

Very cool information, but all the pictures of half-naked Tri stars are kind of making me feel creepy.
I'm gonna go watch Last Man Standing, sorta think about Nancy Travis instead....

Nancy Travis is really good and very versatile. She can move from goofy comedy romances to psychological horror and make it all work.

I had a 1963 Fuel injected Corvette, the 63's had a split window so, 1964 unless a 63 with the splt removed from the rear window.
I now own have a 1958 F.I., so going more vintage.
Best, Ben

I am still here in CA and got the bike over to a friend that works for Jenson USA, and they let me use their tools to tear the frame down to the almost bare frame save the Fork, HS and BB. so it would be easier for me to bring this frame back to CO.
Ohh and a side note..
I sent an email on Dave Scott's site explaining about the site and frame i picked up ,and that i would like to ask a few questions if he had the time. and i got a response from his assistant! so now i got to formulate my questions to him and send it off.

Thank You, here it is, had to drive about an hour, but hard to beat for 25 bucks. Those brake hoods are pretty gummy, if anybody knows an equivalent for the 600 hoods it would be appreciated.

@willoughby1 Super outstanding. Appears to be completely original minus the tires (which were super narrow and super hard which was the trend at the time).
WOW, I like it ...a lot! Congratulations and welcome.
So now the question, keeping it original or are you gonna throw a modern group on?
